After playing the demo, I'm pretty sure I wont buy it, it's alright, but I doesn't excite me!

What are your thoughts on it all?

Looks to me like is worse in the future.

It should be very close to bf2 since it's the same engine with a couple different tweaks.

As for the question at hand, preordered it and picking it up today .

Uh... as with the minimum system specs to run BF2... I actually don't have BF2 at home (let alone a decent PC to run it )...

Mind sparing some effort to tell me what they are here?

Nope, I did pre-order it, but i cancelled. It was the ad-ware that got to me, that and EA not being very forthcoming about how/what it was exactly. As I said before, I think this is another BFV in the making.

I enjoyed playing the demo and the choppers are cool to fly but I felt it was just another BF2 mod like SF is.
I'll probably still wait for Pizza Hut to give it away next year.

i will be buying battlefield 2142. The demo is not too bad and i think i need a change in games. it will take a while to get used to. Like all games but i think it should be fun once you know exactly what your doing :P

I actually went back to 1942 the other night just for a good dog fight. With the j-10 being the way it is I just don’t get any fun out of killing with it, it’s a non skill required killing machine unlike the 1942 fights that require thought and skill with planes evenly matched.


As for this new game took a look at reviews then read some post on here and decided as I was buying football manager 07 id give it a miss, I’ve not even tried the demo as well but as some have said I think I’ll wait for the next jump in the genre and not an BF2 Mod like this.
