While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.

i am exactly like that with the L85. one round i will kill every person I see, the next round ill have people pistoling me while i desperately try to shoot them. I prefer the g36e or the Ak-101 because they seem far more consistent
The L-85 was the first weapon I unlocked, but I can't stand it now. It just shoots all over the place. I've tried it a couple of times recently, but I just can't use it anymore. Whats annoying is when you get killed with one shot by this thing, from a guy who is so far away, you can barely see him. :cry:
Not used the L85 for a LONG time. Might give it a bash soon though.
I agree with this ^^^ the PKM sucks major a** now. Can't hit anything with it over about 10m.
All of the MGs are really accurate, just don't use the iron sights and shoot bursts. I like MG36, RPK and SAW most because those guns do the job faster than PKM. PKM is a good gun also but the rate of fire is too slow for my taste.
Actually- I find just about all the guns in BF2 seems to be very 'experience intensive'- you really do need to get to know how the gun works and the gun itself to really get with actually making a kill with it.
I do really well witha G36C and I can out-snipe a sniper with it, I'm almost totally useless with all the other guns.
soooo true. for the first week-ish that i used the pkm i probably had a kd of about .25(im completely guessing) but then i learned how and i owned with it. but then i started using the mg36 and i cant go back to the pkm.
kind of the same thing with the g36c, except it took way more than a week to get used to it

I HATED this gun when I first unlocked it. It just seemed so random for its accuracy. I dont think I touched it for months and then 1 round I went on a rampage with it and its been one of my favorites ever since.

Can you give a hint what did you change when that gun started to do the work for you. Some are saying that you must aim for the head but it's bs in close combat, faster player wins except with L85A1. My experience is that with this gun hitting the target is totally random with full auto. Best results for me has hapened when using it in single shot mode all the time, even in close combat. I totally love the scope but it's so frustrating to shoot stationary target with this gun. Sometimes it's the first shot that hits, other times 10 first misses and the u get a head shot aiming the same frigging point of the target.
l85 is a great semi auto sniper or point blank sprayer, other than that its a ****ty main battle rifle without the cappacity to truly deal with other main battle rifles at close to mid range.
