Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
This happened to me once when I was playing jala. I was MEC and there was this one guy in a MEC uniform shooting everyone in the cap zone (outpost), I hovered over him and saw the red nametag and popped him a few times with the G3A3, killing him. After the cap, he came back for revenge, except he was wearing a USMC uniform, like he should have been all along. He was far from invulnerable, though. Only took 2 shots IIRC.
Why is it considered cheating playing in a knife only server? Honestly, if everyone agrees to use them it's their choice. It's another way to play the game and have fun. There's no need to **** a brick over someone playing the game differently than you. Chill out, son!

its a form of padding
some rounds nearly everyone finishes with 400+ points all from reviving. The killing violates the roe by restricting kits.
I played one before I had even read ROE, but I didn't know it was pistol/knife and everyone was the usual Assault/Medic/Support using rifles and all. Then someone came in and said something about playing pistol/knife was "illegal". Then found out about the ROE. Seeing as I don't read server names, just ping and players.
Edit: If you know about these servers, why not shut them down? Helping people like me from not joining them, and I know there are more people who have done this accidentally. And why not make IO unranked? It's still a form of padding seeing as people aren't in vehicles.
I never get bugs...I got the red tag bug once, sorta. I was commander on wake. Hiding out in a bunker thingy. I drop the UAV over head, ( we were getting wasted, this was our only flag) I watching the who killed who...and I keep seeing this enemy guys name pop up. I switch from command mode, peek out the door...and there he is! I know its his name...but he has a blue tag. So, I figure its a bug...and I kill him...I know it was him. BOOM! Don't shoot your teamates, stupid bugs. Come to think of it...guess that was a blue tag bug huh?!?!
This bug never happened to me. You should report it.
It seems like an impossible bug to me, since you were not immune to USMC fire.
Was it a FF off server?
i think that the Invulnerability bug is the same as the red tag bug, only you become invulnerable when FF is off. I saw numerous times the red bug tag but only saw the invulnerability one once..............i came to this server and got killed twice by a guy i'm sure i nailed to the head. so i respawn the third times and start FRAPS.
Just got off a server, where I had the invulnerability bug for the very first time in 550+ hours of BF2 time.
It was on an IO server, just about full. Round started (Jalalabad). I was USMC but I wanted to be MEC, so I clicked on MEC and spawned in.
I look around, and all the MEC are red to me. I figure I've got the red bug.
They turn around and start shooting at me. But this is where it gets strange... I couldn't be hurt!
They shot and shot and nothing happened. So I started shooting back. And I killed them, and it showed up as legit kills, not TKs.
It was strange. At first, it was fun and funny, to be in the middle of all these guys jumping around, throwing nades at me, even trying to C4 me, while I was pistoling and RPKing them.
But it also felt very bad. I told everyone (J) that I had the invulnerability bug, but nobody cared. I started a squad called WTF, to flag the situation, but again, nobody cared or chatted or anything.
So I'd just wade into a group of MEC and hose them all down. Got to 31 and 0, but it felt TERRIBLE. At first it was funny, but then it became very un-fun, because I thought of how angry I'd be if it was happening to me.
I ran over to the USMC side, and they didn't shoot me. So I ran back into the middle of the battle, and I got killed by a USMC grenade. After that, I spawned like normal, and died like normal, but still I left the server right away because I felt like such a low-life for shooting the MEC while invulnerable.
So, the moral to this story? Unless it's straight-up competition, it's no fun. An unfair advantage in the game takes away the fun of the person with the advantage.
You might call me a loser for thinking this way, but I hope that I never get the Invulnerability Bug again. It's too tempting to exploit the situation, and there's too much guilt if you do.
It's not worth it, and what's even worse is that now somebody on that server will probably report me as a suspected hacker, and I'll get wiped. Oh well.
I would have whored it up as much as possible. You don't get these opportunities that often. In fact, its very freakin' rare.
If it had happened to me, I would have tried to get 100 kills! LOL. Heck, if I'd been lucky enough to be medic, I'd kill them and see if it would let me revive them. If it did, sorry, I'd be shooting for a 400 or 500 point round!! LOL
What you had basically, was a BF2 version of winning the lottery, and you didn't cash in. You weren't cheating, becuase to cheat, you would have to initiate it. The game gave you a bug, and you didn't use it enough to full advantage in my opinion. So what, you might p|ss off some people. Worse they could do is vote kick you off.
