IMHO the score leaderboard just shows the people who have the least life.
As for those who clock over 3000 hours of game play (check the BF2S hours played per day), well there seems to be something wrong. Many of them have 3/4 of the gaming time on one map that they have only playd say 300 rounds. This would make the average round last 10 hours ... um I don't think so.

Sucking up to an admin has its benefits I see. Patriot you rock in the chopper and communicate the important info while commanding. Do I get brownie points now too

Thanks for the compliment Older-OMO, most the time I do try to do what's best for the team and try to have fun at the same time. Without communication and team/squad work it can be frustrating. However, when the team/squad works together as one, we're unbeatable.

Meh all the leaderboard represents is how long someone has played BF2. Number 1 should be someone with all the awards. Maybe they should get point deductions for not having expert or veteran medals?

Well I am less than 8 hours away from this achievement (only have the Euro badge left) with experts in all BF2 and SF badges:rock: , yet I am sure some/many would say my stats suck... :nerr: Yes my groundpounding stats look bad and my vehicle stats are ok. However, I will accomplish this feat long before most of the top 100 get there.:banana: :hi: :banana: including all of the players mentioned.

However, this is my first FPS since a brief time with Rainbow 6 and Quake before that. I didn't create a new account after I figured out how to play the game :thatsbad: so I am stuck with stats reflecting the initial learning curve (running around on suicide missions, crashing planes and helos on a regular basis, etc).

I consider myself to be very proficient with all vehicles and can ground pound with just about anyone with any kit. :ar15:

I have a friend.

He plays 5 hours a day at least, almost religiuously at the same times. Thats 35 hours a week, which many of TBF2 already marked as "nolifing limit".

This guy is a successful person, has his own job, house, and has a pretty damn nice income. Hes also a good looking fella (really good looking, and Im straight) and is popular with the ladies. He loves to party, do drugs, yet works hard and loves to play games.

So please, dont be ignorant. This "no life" call is bullsh!t from your part. You have no idea why they play so much so you might aswell just drop the speculation.


Last summer I had a broken leg. I averaged 12 hours a day at times, and even more!!! I go to college, I like ladies and party and I have good friends around me.

Like PlaneWhore said, if they like to play, then who the fvck are you people to judge them for it. Let them do whatever they want.


I find it hypocritical that anyone using the "no life" card has his game server search ranked box ticked "ON" and enjoys his/her intraweb superd00per awards.

I only look at my own ranking \ stats really. Its nice to see what you're doing and check progress etc...

I think ranking instantly tickles the ego and for those rack up stupid hours \ points bouncing and spamming around, making the gameplay pretty much unrealistic, I think it maybe has become the obsession.

Some of the best players I know still play BFV.
