The number 1 spot should be determined by SPM, IMO.

Then it would go to stat padders...

btw to whoever talked about awards ECR.CR or whatever doesn't have near every award. BushViper has everything except for 1337 armor whore award.

I have fought w/ Bushviper, & against Bushviper, I have also fought w/ ECR.RC, & against ECR.RC

I played a lot w/ ECR.RC, he is a good tanker in tank on tank battle as an opponent, as a team m8 he will always be engy, & stick close to other armoured vehicle keeping them repaired, he is a team player

Bushviper as an opponent is nasty in CQC, he will hop once, & prone (not excessive bunny hopping), & if you hit him, he will hop once, & prone again, he is also a good team player, that works on the most important objective @ hand, which he did the night I played against, & w/ him, & Baby spinach in Warlord

I admit Bushviper who w/ Baby Spinach assualted the palace constantly killed me like 3 times, & I only killed him once, & Baby Spinach killed me twice, to my 1 kill on him but I was Insurgent commander, & did successfully defend the palace all round winning the game, & I did end up 20 to 10 k/d (I had |SI|BLack_JeSuS backing me up)

The next round Baby Spinach, & Bushviper switched onto Insurgent, my clan m8's, & I stayed on Insurgent (we already earned our SAS medals in Ghost), I personally observered Bushviper supporting the team running around doing whatever needed to be done, in armor, or "ground poundin'"

btw that was a slaughter was of epic proportions

I like ECR.RC, having played w/ him in ts on numerous occasions, but I have to give the skill nod to Bushviper

Now a much better comparison would be between my clan m8 |SI|BLacK_JeSuS, & Bushviper

|SI|BLacK_JeSuS is "nice" in every role in BF2

bomber pilot (1 round BLacK_JeSuS lined me up for 52 missle kills in the SU-34 in Daqing Oilfields, after the middle of the round dudes would not get on a skateboard, & we got accused of hacking, & camping but another guy on US spoke up, & said, "They are just good, & they haven't even touched the uncap"

his least fav kit is sniper (I think that is a good thing)

& he is a hell of a nice guy

I've never played against or with BushViper when he's flying anything.. He's probably not too bad though.

It's kind of hard to tell since there are players from all across the world and I doubt that anyone in here have played against every single player in the top 50

True, but when you have put 2000hrs in this game you will eventually run into most of them

I have played w/ 6 of the top 10 ranked players in the game

I went into Moongamers, & played as commander opposite Firestorm who was commander also, I beat him 2 rounds out of 3

btw the 3rd round he roadkilled me w/ a hummer LOL

I was in a server w/ Blazin.UK once (he was afk @ the time)

I now play in UTAC server quite a bit w/ UTAC|Patriot (ranked #24), he got "nice" skillz in the chopper (pilot, or gunner)

It is a small world

The leaderboard can not accuratly display who is the most skilled. Numbers and statistics can only go so far, and in the end it really doesnt serve a purpose, other then simply showing who has more points then you.

However, you can create your own leaderboard on bf2s.com. Why doesnt everyone do that..

Look at my stats, It would take me 65 years of constant playing even to get into the top 100,000. I suck.

Your stats aren't that bad. I stunk so bad at the begining of my BF2 time i'm still recuperating my K/D ratio.

well i think -=RD=-Volx sux look at his awards and he still a colonel, but for example erc.uk he is a really good player.. i think he should be first( only players from the top 50 )

Would you care to expand on that? How exactly does someone being in the Top50 release them from any suspicion of stat-padding?? I'm sorry I just don't understand how it's "proven" they don't stat pad if they are in this rank catagory. Explain.

You know, I dont really pay attention to who's the top and who's not. Dont really care who has what rank, billion points, etc. As a matter of fact I rarely ever look to see ranks in game and hardly pay attention to names. When I join a server, all my enemies are equal. They are the guys with the red light above them (names), nothing more. I see red I try to kill them, General, privates, whatever. They are red and need to die.

Sometimes I will come across a good player and try to keep fighting him one on one, helps me learn what my enemys may do. Kinda like a chess match sometimes. Smart players are hard to find. Number one on some list really doesnt impress me, so I dont even bother to look.

My main point was that the entire leaderboard is flawed and even though some people will say "xxxxx" is better than "xxxxx" is totally moot. I've played with bushviper and babyspinach and they're good, some of the players on the top of the leaderboard are probably good too (never played with them) but it's soley based on the number of points earned.
