I must admit, i've begun playing a lot again lately, and you know - ive noticed more and more forgives than punishes! i even remarked on it to my clanmates, and they too have noticed it. most unusual.

I shot my first friendly out of a chopper Friday night. I start the round @ Sharqi, USMC, and I'm lucky enough to fly the chopper. I start flying away and notice 2 skull and crossbones on my chopper; BOOM, the chopper blows up. I go do some infantry stuff, and then I notice our chopper is gone when I die. I figure I'll spawn at TV station and see if I can get it again. Low and behold, the guy that tked me the first time is in the pilot seat and says "Get in!". I pump a .50 cal round into his face whilst spamming "Roger that." I flew off solo in the chopper, TVing the MEC one when it came to spawn rape the TV station. I got kicked later for tking for a chopper because some random guy called an admin when he saw my negative score, and that I was alone in the chopper soloing. IDK if the other guy got kicked or not...

Yea I feel your pain PJ, I always give a TKer to atleast like 10 secs to apologize and they hardly ever do. So I punish away. Unless they are in some crazy firefight or dogfight and I know they don't have the time to apologize. If someone intentionally TK's me for an aircraft though I usually devote a good portion of the game towards tutoring them on BF2 ethics.

Probably 8/10 I forgive TK's.

I rarely go for any of the "Hot" vechs or anything because the only thing im good at is gunning from a heli but even than I really dont care.
When I get TK'd its usually in the middle of a gunfight. im right in the thick firing away and jumping around to avoid getting my *** turned into a painfuly fake immitation of swiss cheese and I get shot by my team mate trying to gun down the guys that are shooting at me while im getting in his line of fire. I dont punish that, nor do I punish grenades TK's when im playing on a map like Karkand.

I only punish when it was an OBVIOUS TK like TK For vech, TK by shooting you while your standing there no enemies around.

My fav server is a great one, only a couple times in the time i've played there has someone forced a TK on me, like that ******* who decideds to jump out in front of my Vodnik going at max speed. The server is 24/7 Sharqi Insomnia. (not the server name in the right order or anything, just giving the basic words lol)

Or maybe its because im a ground pounder and I dont use vechs often or anything...who knows *shrugs*

ok, i ask this alot but i never get areply (i dont think i do)
but what does punishing do?, does it take more points off, or does it add somthing to your stats showing how many times someone has been punished?

Im not sure my self but I think that if someone TK's you and you punish it adds to their record for that session of the server they're playing. If they get punished for TKing a certain ammount of times they get booted. I THINK thats how it is but im not 100% sure.

Or, when FF is off, they see you waiting for the chopper, throw a C4 pack down, blow you into the air while they get in.

teamkilling for vehicles is one of the main reasons that i hardly ever use them. i'll usually only grab vehicles if no one else is using them or i happen to be there when it spawns and no one else is around. and i frickin hate the punish system. i generally forgive tk's, but i almost always get punished. especially when you headshot a guy on your team because the friendly tag didn't come up . the scope hadn't even gone down yet before i got punished:laugh:

I am more annoyed by that kind of behaviour than that I run into intentional tks. Maybe you chose the wrong words to express yourself, but to me that sounds as bunnyhopping.

I play on IO mostly and hardly ever take vehicles on small maps, so I don't run into that kind of tks much. I don't punish, unless it was clearly intentional or it happened several times by the same guy/girl.

Any game you play, there will be jerks.

There are a lot of good people who play BF2. The jerks just tend to stick out.

You are a "rare breed", I am a "support whore", I can lay prone firing, & some dude will just flop down in front of me like I am not even there, 1 of 4 things will happen

1. He "steals" my kill

2, He dies, blocking my view, but he has done enough damage to the enemy, & the enemy hasn't moved so I can fire blind through his dead body, & make the kill

3. He dies blocking my view, but the enemy makes some kind of adjustment such as crawling side ways, & kills me

4. I don't "let up" on the trigger in time, & tk him

I COULD repostion myself, but if I am already in a "prone war" I will probably die

When I tk in that position 9 out of 10 times they punish, & hurl insults

Ppl ask why do others punish when the are tk'd, & it is their own fault?

I guess it is like w/ car accidents, they just can't believe it is their fault

Christian Gamer's Online server, I had the USMC carpet bomber on Kubra Dam. Three times I hit one of my guys while taking out a enemy armor taking our flag. Three times I get punished. I'm flying back to rearm, thinking:"WTF? I just took that tank out that your Assault arse couldn't, for our team, and you punish me?"

Edit:Should prolly mention the irony of no-forgiveness on a Christian server XD "God loves you, unless you TK him with a carpet-bomber"
