"getting under their skin" basically what i, meant by that is... i go back to the server, even though they are dicks. whatever, EA put a button for switching seats on the helos and if it wasnt meant to be used that way then they would have deleted it by now. i am banned from that server again for "language"... i rejoined the server immediatlly after being kicked and SRAW the helo and killed em. i told em " Dont need to Solo". hence language ban. they were soloing and soloing the bomber too. Basically they are stat padding douches. all one team too. putting all the pubbers on the other side.

Soloing is not a cheat, otherwise it would've already been addressed by Dice.

As for getting back to the admins, well... they hold the gun. It'll be hard for you to fight back.

I agree that soloing is not a cheat, but by your logic using the J10 is not a cheat because it hasnt been addressed by DICE. A lot of things have not been addressed by DICE.

They very specifically changed the helicopter to drop after 4 or 5 seconds without a pilot. Had they wanted to stop soloing, it would've dropped to the ground immediately upon losing the pilot...

So you see, if they would've wanted to, the change would already be in effect. However, it isn't... so I choose to conclude that Dice (at least unofficially) supports soloing.

Eh soling is not a cheat, but I think it's a bannable iffense if you are leaving could be gunners or pilots on the helo pad or killing them intentionally to be alone.

Does that statement really need any more elaboration? I mean really. If p' off an admin, he can kick and ban you... Soloing in a chopper is NOT a cheat, because it is available a part of tehg ame already and anyone can do it. Now, whether if it goes against the teamwork concept is a different matter entirely.

No everyone can't, i've been playing this game for the better part of a year and I can't solo tv. I can pilot and gun pretty darn well, just not at the same time. It's the little kiddies with there macro keyboards that seem to enjoy this sort of thing because they haven't teamed up properly. The ones without macros do have real skill, but I can't tell between macro and non macro.

We have a rule on our server that states that we do kick for solo tv -- We feel that you should work as a team when using the choppers. In addition, would you be able to climb over a seat IRL to fire the missle and then climb back over the seat again to regain control of your chopper, I think not. It's also unfair to the people who do use the choppers in the proper way and get blow away because someone's solo tv'ing..... 2 kills against 1 kill.

Anyways that's my two pennys worth....

Getting under there skin could mean finding them ingame and knifing them. Is that bannable?

However, most soloers TK for heli's, and take gunners OoB, which is a crying shame, and should be a bannable offence on every server.

That's a gratuitous assertion. Let's see the numbers, please. I have never Tk'd to solo.

he was NOT kicked for cheating
he WAS warned FIVE times NOT to fly ALONE
it is a TEAM sport, and this has been one of our server rules for MONTHS
but
because he was a better player than most = specifically did NOT want him to feel he got kicked just for being good

this is the only reason he got more than 2 warnings
he was KICKED = NOT BANNED
till he came back and began NON_STOP swearing

BTW
he was also using a macro as solo pilot
(do not tell me PB has blocked them - they are still easily used)

and if you cannot deduce from my reply
yes- I am the admin that kicked and banned him
and yes - even after this happened
I took the time in game (via all chat) to invite on his clan mates into our ventrilo, then I told him on Vent -
"hey - I just banned one of your regular guys"
"tell him I will lift the ban - all he has to do is keep his mouth clean"
and the guy said - "sorry for his clanmate and he would let him know"

we had a saying in our squadron (fighter pilots)
"it was the first one the the chalk board that won the dogfight "
(for those of you that do not get it = means does not matter who flew best . but who tells their side of the story first)
