my experience has been this...

Ram = kills for both pilots....
Ram wreckage = kill for who ever actually killed the other vehicle..

All too often I have heard... "Nice ram F@G" and the pilot hit the wreckage because the victim didnt get a kill...

I never ram and if I do by acciednt I will always say Im sorry it was an accident, And they say ok. The key for bf2 is be polite to other gamers they sure do appreciate it.

Well I don't play spec ops often but when i do i place c4 on the plane when i got one, C4 explodes with the plane without you using the remote and you got the kills, I use the plane as a 1 hit kill tank missile when im bored of flying, just don't forget to bail out before crash haha

the only problem i hav with flying is you cant really assume what the person on the other end will do in way of reactions, the odd time id get a close shave id usually dive to the right, but there have been a few BH pilots who move to where i plan of going and ramming and ofc they jump the gun and whinge *shock*

happened last night too shooting away at a BH and it turns infront of me, i appologize and the pilot decides to go off on one blaming me for ramming

i dont intentially doit its just the odd time you get lag or idiots

I never ram intentionally. The reason I'm asking about the scoring of it is because of something that happened yesterday. I was in the Su 34 on Kubra. I was closing in on a cobra on his 6 letting the cannons rip. As I got closer I pulled to the right to avoid hittng him and to circle around for another run. Just as I passed him...BOOM. I got credit for 2 kills and of course my death. Of course the guys in the choper..."F'n rammer...learn to fly".

I expalined that they hit me...not the other way around. "Yeah right" "Your jet is faster than us".....huh? So a chopper can't run into a passing jet? BS.

I told them...You hit me because I got credit for the kills...learn how the game works kids. I know this has to be the case because I have rammed into jeeps and suffered on the negative side of points. One of the same guys from the heli crash later was hauling down our runway in a jeep just as I began rolling in the F 18. He hit me IN the hanger but I got credit for the kill! :laugh:

I feel the exact way I was commanding and I saw enemy z-10 ( i was in essex and then he went out of round then 3 seconds later I tk a whole BH, all punished and I was kicked and banned

Been flying jets more latley and "occasionally" have been a little too close to a chopper when trying to strafe it with the cannon. Now I'm not sure how this works on points though. IF you collide with a chopper...or jet for that matter....do YOU get points for the kill or does the victim of the ram get the kill points?

Reason I ask is that it seems latley...maybe since the patch or even sooner...that who ever gets rammed actually gets the kill points and not the kamikazee.

From personal experience (and holy s*it do I have a lot), jets get 90% of the "kills" when they ram into me. Jets fly mostly in linear fashion, so it's up to them to pull up or out before this happens.

I used to ram choppers a lot (accidentally) because when I play on my laptop, I have to take my finger of the arrow keys to release missles. Now, when I'm on my laptop, I just don't go after choppers unless they're really hurt, and I only use guns...

I guess I'm wondering what other pilots have experienced. When I say I know it's the case.....I'm baseing that on my own experiences....

I had a guy in a chopper tell me to learn to fly AFTER I downed his cobra with two missles and then my J10 hits the wreckage and kills me. But all he sees is him and his gunner killed by and a message below him saying {Sn][per} ELI is no more. So he assumes I rammed him. I dl'd the Battlecorder file to confirm this and to use incase he tries to talk smack about it later.

You got credit for the kills because you inflicted some damage to the helo with your guns. The game gives kills to whoever has caused more damage. The game doesn't have the intellect to dictate who made the better effort to avoid the ram. The fact that you even implied that is quite hysterical.

Now where did I imply that the game made the distinction that I tried to avoid the ram?

I merely said I started to bank right to avoid the ram. All i'm wondering is who got credit for the kills...the rammer or the victim. Clearly you don't understand the question.

You should be careful with C4-ing any vehicle, since any friendly that gets killed in the explosion is credited as a TK for you. At some time I was fooling around in an APC and was aiming to leave it for the enemy to pick it up and then blow it up. However a tank happened to me and when the APC exploded, it killed 3 teammates near me ...
