Serves him right. Not for padding; I couldn't give to ****s about some other nerd's stats on a video game. Anybody who sees stats and says "WTF?! PaDDERS! PADDERS!" and is a BFROE/BF2RS ***** should uninstall BF2. Video games don't need a set of laws. But that's another argument for another topic.

Illusion had it coming. A selfish guy (yes, he's an adult, which is even more pathetic =/) who, along with his fellow admins, got to where they are (in illusion's case, was) by being assholes. I usually don't care about abusive admins but christ this guy was a jerk. However I think he got reset because EA doesn't like "their" stuff being sold (he sold his account).

Another guy would be DJJeffro. A few people said "zomg bring his stats back" until people spoke of what an ******* he was.

But some stupid resets: TeflonSean and kontrolcrimson. Sean's a nice guy, he doesn't strike me as someone who would break the Naz-, err, BFROE. Kontrolcrimson I've never played with but having spoken to him on forums he seems like another innocent case.

Oh well. At the end of the day, it's the BF2RS and BFROE nerds doing the resetting and account investigation that are on the short end of the stick. Seriously, do you people have nothing better to do?

If the stats system is to ever mean anything things like this have to happen.

Personally I think it's a day late and dollar short, for the entire system.

Ranked servers have rules, for competitiveness fairplay, and to have stats mean something when compared to other players. That's why you can only gain points in ranked servers. The two go hand in hand. The ROE, and the Ranks/Points system.

I think it was stupid of EA/DICE not to see this comming. Originally I thought all the badges and things would be acquired through normal game play, like mile markers (and some are). But the requirements are so stupid in relation to a squad based shooter, that people will simply give up the idea of acheiving them through "normal" game play. So they resort to statpadding. It's not an excuse it's just some people's nature.

Give em little trinkets and what not, and they'll do anything to have their Warholian fame.

What I can't get my head around is why some one would kill a freind 153 times in a row, rather then play the actual game? The game itself and playing it is infinately more interesting then any statpadding activity.

It's like having a dart board, and then instead of actually playing a round of cricket or 501, instead, seeing how many darts you could stick in the board itself.

And for what? So some mindless server can record 1 and 0's to generate a stat and change the appearance of a webpage with your account name on it?

Just how insecure and shallow do you have to be to actually care?

To bad these guys never got in trouble... Although they did get banned from that server.

Even worse EA didn't fix any SF glitches.

I'm more interested in why lKULl TeflonSean got reset about a month ago. He was a top 10. I never knew who this guy was though.

I'm against all stat padding except repair points. It is virtually impossible to get 20 in a round and let alone a thousand all together without playing for 300+ hours as an engie. I would totally understand someone that wants to get that badge stat padding for repair points.

Can someone tell me what his accuracy was?

I ask because im starting to think that if you wish to keep stats in this game you have to play bad.

One of our clan got his stats reset just because he had a good score in one round.

Now some guy has been reset for having a good accuracy.

Maybe its about time EA told us what the limit is on certain stats and then we can all just act like idiots and never become good.

Actually I got the Expert Engy Badge relatively Easy, no Statspadding.
