It really sounds like this kat was a monster. I hate to see people loose so much time that they have invested...but in certain scenrios, it seems completely valid. An example like Spetnaz make me unhappy on some of the policies and there are several more that I could list also that I feel might have gotten the shaft for the wrong reasons.
I do feel that it does work, but because some of the process is so guarded and not transparent, we lack understanding of how the data is collected, processed and then scrubbed. If you spend enough time reading all of IS's posts here, at BFROE, and various other forums, you get a better picture.
If this is blatant, reckless abuse of the whole stat program...sure why not wipe'em, but because people like this will not change, and the only thing that really hits them hard is a Hardware Ban and I am not sure how many of these get handed out.
Sometimes, I will yell "Burn'em!!!" But, it really depends on the severity, because with people that pad on K/P, I don't think ALL of their stats need to be wiped, just knock the wind out of them with a %30 Global Score reduction on their account and clean out their Pistol, Knife kills and badges. Reserve the serious hardcore wipes that remove 18 months of work for those that have gone above and beyond.
I can't count the number of PM's I have cleaned out of my inbox from people that I have warned about their statements here in the forums and then find out they have never heard of ROE. I get PMs also that support my bold aggressive countering of BFROE's polices at times.
The community in general all agrees...there needs to be action and to those that violate the communities expectations of a level playing field. But it seems that there are some that are hardcore about cutting peoples' balls off and some that feel that there are levels of tolerance.
