RIP BF2.

My own personal view is that for the pubber, BF2 is dead. Played tonight and it sucked. Tons of players cheating, tk for vehicles and in general being dicks.
It's been gradually getting worse.

I want to make afew more BF2 videos, but i have no interest in playing ranked servers anymore.

BF2 has been an excellent game but lately I think the nail has been put in the coffin, espcially with all the patches and hacking and everything. I definitly got my moneys worth out of BF2. More than any other game I have played.

I've never seen anybody cheat before.

I can't wait until Wednesday when my clan plays it's first TWL match though. =)

there are 38 friends online on my xfire and 14 are playing BF2, its still alive but it definetly feels different after 1.4

some info on the future of this game would change that, if they said that theyll still support this game Id feel better

I don't really fear for the future of this game, given the obscenely large influx of new players that have swollen the ranks in the past month. I don't know what caused it, but you can't deny it. New players are everywhere now!

I suddenly feel like a veteran, even though I myself am a new player in the eyes of real BF2 veterans.

@ Dairuka - Yeah i've also noticed the big influx of new players or people with new accounts. Also noticed a lot more females playing.

Are you kidding? I played bf2 for hours yesterday and i had a blast, it's far from dead.

I agree that after 1.4, BF2 Ranked just isn't the same anymore. I'll play maybe 1-3 rounds a day now. As opposed to playing maybe 6-10 rounds a night.

BF2 just isn't the same anymore. EA and DICE did a great job killing off a great franchise.

Perhaps BF2 will be revived once all the losers and ****tards make the move over to 2142. Only time will tell...

Why does everyone keep saying BF2 has hackers? Just because YOU got owned by a good player, you scream hack. Learn to play and stop complaining. Until you can PROVE there is an out break in hacking, drop it....

Try find a server with good admins on it, one that checks pb screenshots manual for example.

Or play Infantry Only, so you dont get killed for a vehicle

Yea, Ive heard your next line 100 times "Red stfu noob". That was it wasnt it. Do you guys read a script or something?
I usually surf the server list and find its about 50/50, you know. It isnt hard to spot the cheaters. Four dead give aways are this. First theres that guy who can solo in the attack chopper and use all the weapons never misses a shot and never looses control of the chopper. Second are the ones who will run right up to you, drop on the ground, roll to the left and fire off 6 shots with thier rifle. Thats right always six shots that never miss. Third are the ones who never seem to need to use cover of any kind. Run right up the middle of the street and never die. Forth are the ones who seem to be able to see everyone on the battlefield. Even the ones beyound the visual range of the snipers rifle.
Pay attention next time you play and see if you dont spot at least one of these guys. Its not hard if you can count the number of shots they shoot (dont use your fingers for this).
The other posters are right its getting worse and 2142 wont be any better as far as I can tell. . . . . . . . . .Red
