dead?! with 1910 servers last time i was in? lets see 1910 servers X lets say all were 32 player maps (for the sake of simplicity all full )...that would be 61120 ppl, playing that night. i doubt its dead :p lol

Yeah Bf2 is dying..... It's not just only the hackers but the new people who get in the game and take valuable assets like a tank,heli,planes away from the people who use it best. Usually people First Sargent and above. There are some good players who are lower ranked but it few and far between.

The new people in BF2 are ignorant and don't know how to detect hackers during gameplay thus you see "I've never seen a hacker" or its a hacker protecting his gameplay by posting disinformation.

Maybe its not your thing, but I have been playing IO lately so there is no such things as valuable assets.

Also the reason I don't think there are many hackers is because when ever I am playing, if anyone is being called a hacker. It is either me or a clan mate (unless it is the commander hax). These people with the hacks are either no existent on the servers I play on or don't use the hax to top score. It will never bother me unless someone with cheats is stealing my gold stars. Which wound't last long anyway, servers I play on have a tool that takes a screen shot of the players screen and from there they can tell if hax are installed.

You totally and whole heartedly put your faith in punkbuster?

*** hacks got around punkbuster months ago and they are constantly updated on a daily basis. Punkbuster cannot detect *** at present, and without investment/research *** hacks will remain undetectable.

70,000+ players have signed up to ***. Even if just a fraction of these players use the hacks, that is still alot of players.

It is true there are some very good players that get unfairly accused of hacking. From experience, if you have played over 800 hours, you can normally tell who is hacking and who isn't. Usually, not always.

My idea of the game being dead is that it is a shadow of itself before all the patches. Soo many smacktards are ruining the game that imo the game is dead even if thousands play the game everyday.

BF2 kicks ***!! I go on huge on/off periods of gaming, and right now im sooo on with BF2. Tking is kinda annoying but ehh thats in every game. No crashing for me. I don't notice hackers ever (maybe im not that astute) but if I can still get top of the board consistently then what do I care?

Cheaters? To be honest i've never seen a single cheater on BF2 and i understand that there are cheaters in every game and that we all come across them but why do i have a feeling your just a bad player blaming "cheaters" for your losses.

yeah bf2 is certainly dead for me, i haven't played it once since i started playing poe. Simply becuase it outclasses bf2 in every respect. I have the latest patch for bf2 but i still haven't seen or played the new map yet.

Find a nice clan that doesn't cheat and play with them. I was annoyed by the lack of teamwork and it makes a big difference.

I like BF2 and I get annoyed by some stuff, but I'll ignore them, as it is my game and my fun.

I'm a total newbie compared to most of you - I've just been playing about 2 months.

But yesterday while playing I saw a LOT of privates...moreso than I've seen ever. Seriously I felt a little bad when a group of 3 or 4 were clustered together and I cut them to pieces with my MG 36.

You almost hate to do that because you may drive them off. lol.

^^ thats the whole trouble with bf2 generally. Its mega nerfed to appeal to the maximum number of casual players possible. Meaning it was made to make it so you don't die over and over again.

Thats why BF2 is so flawed if they wanted to actually make a truly good game then it would of been just like POE but POE is hard its tricky you die a lot to start with so not as many people would of played it and EA wouldn't of made as much money.

RIP BF2.

My own personal view is that for the pubber, BF2 is dead. Played tonight and it sucked. Tons of players cheating, tk for vehicles and in general being dicks.
It's been gradually getting worse.

I want to make afew more BF2 videos, but i have no interest in playing ranked servers anymore.

BF2 has been an excellent game but lately I think the nail has been put in the coffin, espcially with all the patches and hacking and everything. I definitly got my moneys worth out of BF2. More than any other game I have played.

Hacking.. eh right I've only seen Vehicle Drop twice and stop playing in the same server over and over. :)

hhhmm...where did i ever say I blamed cheaters for my loses?

In my stats I have a 1.37 wins/loses ratio with my simmy.uk account with nearly 1000 rounds played.
I have a 1.37 kill/death ratio with 8,800 kills.
I have a 1.31 kill/ratio ratio with the assault gun with 3,343 kills to 2,556 deaths

I don't care about stats, but i think these are better than average stats. I have enough experience to know what is possible and what is not possible within the parameters of the game.
