The problem is not slipknots problem! I see the same thing often and dont know if its a problem on the server or just that one player doing something. The latest one was where I was a sniper and shot a lone enemy sniper 12 times and saw the "X" that told me I hit him. Still didnt kill him so I got an APC and put 3 shots into him, that did it. In the same game I also saw an enemy soldier bombed by a F-15, he bounced up into the air, over the sand bags and got up, ran back to the flag he was capping. I head shot him right away, that did it.
The point is that there is a problem here that shouldnt be here. No Im not that bad a player, I have over 1000 hours and almost all as infantry. . . . . . . .Red

wow idc if you have 100hrs and 6k points i mean you can easly just leave yourself in a game and not play at all and just rack up time on a kit so who cares and for this hacker if you get a vid you can band him.

1.4 has improved my knifing net code so much, i basically connect everytime i should and its a blast running up to ppl now and slicing em, when before that was a great way to die.

Stats are nothing more than a measure of time played on ranked servers. I've never heard of that particular hack, but I ahve heard of what you describe. Could have been a lot of things, lag, ping spike, etc.?

1.4 has improved my knifing net code so much, i basically connect everytime i should and its a blast running up to ppl now and slicing em, when before that was a great way to die.

wow i notice the EXACT OPPOSITE is true....since 1.4, the knife hit-detection is complete and utter horsesh!t....it now takes me at least 3 hits to kill anyone....effn BS...

i still end with 20-25 knife kills per round

and get first-third on my team using only knife as weapon :laugh:

FF is always on in internode and i wasn't on his team.
how can it be an exploit. i shot him multiple times (3 clips & 1 knife)

Exploit = a problem with the game that is exploited.
Hack = a person who has changed something within the game to have an advantage.

The Hotel does have a game issue and can be exploited. you see them but they are hiding within the wall so you can't kill them.

Visit punkbusters forums there heaps of info there. Report him there straight to the admin he will be sorted. Has worked for me.

The Hotel does have a game issue and can be exploited. you see them but they are hiding within the wall so you can't kill them.

i believe the hotel exploit was addressed in 1.4.....that and the fact he said he shot him and stabbed him is evidence he was not in the hotel because he would not have even seen him, unless he entered the building as well

Keep up the good work reporting things you know in your heart of hearts to be beyond the normal skope of play - don't forget there are times when you think wtf and it's completely legit i.e. 99% of the time.

There are some amazing players out there and you never really know who your up against, unless you get to know the name of a certain player who in you opinion is taking the pi$$!!

I only play ranked servers with the majority of the same names time & time again, cos I know they dont cheat + there is a bigger brother watching most of the time

Carn't comment on the prevalence of hacks in bf2 cos it's rarely affected me, although I have been downed a couple of times and know hacks were involved, only through 10+ years of online game experience & working a map for 100+ hours you get used to what the norm.

Remember these guys find servers they can get away with it although the smart one will get away with it on any server for a while, better to choose popular servers with good players + admin - you will be much less likely to feel the OMGWTFHAX!! feeling

I shot a chopper point blank 3 times with AA (yes he was so close it cooled and shot the third time) the chopper was upside down flying away from me and shot 1 missle.........you guessed it I DIED!!!!

aww hell, I know that feeling, tis the brilliance of bf2. I think someones sig on here somes it up quite well "tis strange, tis bf2" or something like that.

hey, could have been pre patch, were the missile would have eva decressed circle the chopper, then hit you in the eye :laugh:

all i know is that your kil to death ratio is abnormally bad, .43, your either afk most of your server time or you let people kill you, no way you could actively be playing and getting killed in that ratio.

now what is confusing me is, i thought punkbuster was supposed to detect these hacks and kick/ban people. am i wrong???
is there hacks out there that punkbuster is not detecting???

The thing you have to understand about PB is that it sucks. It doesn't really "detect" anything. The only think PB does is compare files to its database and if a known hack that was submitted to PB, and therefore in it's database, shows up, you get banned. If the hack hasn't ever been submitted to PB, then it won't catch it. That is why hacking is alway around. I mean hell, there is at least one website that openly sells hacks for bf2. They even have demos of their "undetectable hack" on google video. Anyway...the bottomline is PB sucks!

There is a common hack out there called the Imm. Hack (Immunity Hack). Sometimes it is also called Imm. Glitch.

All games attract cheaters via hack, I guarentee there are younger peeps than you capable of programming such. If it affects you, report it.

Or pwn them without using them, really hacks them off
