I just tried 3 rounds at Jalalbad in IO mode. Yes, there was a lot of stat-padding with most people playing one of Medic, Sniper, or Support. Some had well over 100 points but only a handful of kills.
But it wasn't much worse than vanila-Karkand, when it came to nade-spamming or medic-whoring. So overall, not as bad as the hysteria with which some people describe this map (or IO mode).
Getting good scores with other classes than the abovementioned three were difficult. I managed 52 with Assault, but around half of that was from picking the Sniper kit to help my team get a toe-hold on the MEC flags in the first few minutes of the round.Comment

Get over it. IO is only on a handful of maps, if you're not happy with it, then bugger off to Wake or somewhere else where you can fly a jet or drive armor. IO is like a whole new game....Comment
