I just got through with three hours of Road to Jahalalalalalabalalabalabad and loved it. I only two connection issues which resolved themselves in a matter of seconds (my wife was surfing the web on the laptop), which sure beats how it used to be. Two connection issues, which were my wife's fault, and the rest was flawless. No CTD, no server crash, faster load time, did not see the Red Tag bug... I am glad they waited. This is better than I could have ever hoped for.

i like the patch.....i installed the incrimental patch....no problems at all....the gameplay changes they made with prone, i havent even noticed it...i dont need to belly flop around lol so i dont notice these changes...the jalalalalalabad map is nice......its like karkand without the fog.....i like the IO portion as well...u get more stamina, which i think makes it more realistic, now i can run past 1 building and not be drained.....i used the knife mostly on IO....i only shot a couple of times....i noticed there are actually squads....who stick together...i also noticed how easy it is to rack up points.....

i was content with 1.3.....but they made 1.4, which to me is the same plus IO and a new map......

One issue for me and its a new one ,was playing the new map when i wanted to quit game i couldnt it wouldnt let me, tried pressing escape over and over again,in the end i had to do the old ctrl/alt/delete to end the game.

But on a side note ,the new map is a good one ,love the first flag and the defence side of that.
Havent really noticed anymore or any less dolphin or bunny hopping.
I think the map is quite balanced all this **** about the US winning each time is BS i played for two hours and it went both ways.

I always uninstall it completely and reinstall using the full patch, never had any issues with a patch, besides the normal bugs.

100% agree. My specs are good but not the best and allot of people here (with systems BETTER than mine) simply LET garbage install themselves on their PC and then they wonder why they are having connection issues and CTD's. Check your system!!!!! Just like a car, if it's got nothing but junk in it, it won't run well.

Slightly of topic, when the 1.3 patch came out there was a big fuss about doing the full patch and not the incremental patch.

Is this the same with 1.4? (I have the 1.3 installed)

Oh to hell with it, I'm gonna stick my neck out and say it: well done on the patch guys!

One thing though, occassionaly i couldnt spot enemys after pressing Q. minor issue though and im not crying about it.

I thought it was just me VC?!? I had some spotting problems too last night on Jalalalabad. Square in my sights > SPOTTED > and it's the question mark. SPOTTED again and it showed. This happened quite a bit when I was spotting from the roof by MOSQUE.
Other then that, I have Z-e-r-o issues with 1.4.
I didn't even notice the prone thing. It took me a minute to even figure out what they meant. No big deal there.
The new map is great. My squad and I kicked serious a$$ last night (on both sides of the ball). I was surprised how quickly my squad went from me to FULL. More people figuring out how to squad?
No CONNECTION ISSUES... which I have seen in 1.3. Although not often, and I always suspected my slowly dying hard drive, or the game server, for that. (Making the KA-CHUNK of death noise sometimes).
I'm surprised people blame the game for CONNECTION PROBLEMS...
Sae several CTD's w/1.3 but nothing last night on 1.4.
So far so good!

i would like to thank you for not fixing the browser problem where u loose all of ur favourites if you press refresh, and i would also like to thank you for making my game unplayable ( i had a fresh install then patched it and now i cant play yet 1.3 and all other patches have worked)

99% of the connection problems are caused by isp loadshares... viruscheckers updates and other extrenal influences.... some pipol around here think they are big boys if they flame EA or DICE... like look at me what i dare to say... they should come out of their anonimity (or how you spell it) and speak up to EA man to man .. go to the community day and tell them.. no they have to hide behind their screen and type thing their mother would wash their mouthes with soap for...

but still they play the game... i had some issues with call of duty 2... wrote email with their service desks under my own name.. we had a good and constructive conversation about several points.. even some of them are included in their latest patch.. see even activision has to patch their releases... we the consumers are partly the ones that causes these issues... we all buy computers which are about alike like a bird and a fish.. this causes issues that some have problems and some dont.. the developers now have to come up with a solution to solve it.. but then comes beside the fish and the bird a dog... again problems... this is why it sometimes taakes a long time to solve problems...

well i get now excite to much lol... few more words from me ...

GOOD JOB EA/DICE .... patch 1.4 solved the issues i had.... it runs smooth and flawless....

I got in a squad and couldn't get out...lmao
Couldn't spawn on the leader no matter what.
