1.4 Praise Thread

Just tried a Karkand server with the 1.4 incremental and it went SMOOTH!!!! No problems so far and I guess all that beta testing paid off. Thanks DICE!!!


Here's what I did
Removed B2 Completely!!!
Ran- Registry Mechanic- Xsoft Spyware Remover- Disk Cleanup- Disk Defrag.
Reinstalled vanilla B2
Rebooted
Installed the full 1.3 patch
Installed the 1.4 incremental patch
Rebooted
Played the game.

My Specs:

Win XP SP2(fixed)
MSI K8N NEO 4 PLATINUM MOBO
2GB DDR RAM
160GB 7200 SATA2 Primary, 60GB 7200 RPM Slave
AMD 64 3700+ CPU
MSI 7900GT 256MB
NEO 4 PLATINUM Audio 5.1
Sidewinder Precision Pro
MS Optical Intellimouse
Size 8.5 shoes

Anyway, yeah, the patch runs awesome, and I dunno if it's just Jalablahblah, or the patch, but I loaded hella fast. Hooray!

BTW, if your having no problems or very few and you feel the patch deserves an applause then by all means, please say something here. I am so tired of hearing poeple complain that it sucks and it hasn't even been a week. If after a week you are still having problems and you REALLY have tried to troubleshoot and correct the problem and it's a problem that allot of other people are having then by all means you have every right to complain but otherwise STFU and tell us what your problem is so we can help you!!!

Downloaded, patched. (Machine maintaince finished 1st of month anyways) burned to cd rom, scanned net for POE problem, problem resolved.... played both POE and Jalalabad no problems except flat footed teammates stomped by tank in narrow streets. ARGHH!

Praise? We will see... Half expected some things to be fixed like proning.

Ive just played for about 3 hours and the game has ran smooth as silk for me.
Ill give it a week before i praise them though lol

finally a patch that well... fixed some things.... not made them worse !!!! praise (insert whoever you believe in here) for there help in bringing DICE some brains!!!!!

yeah i got the patch working real smooth no crashes and my server loading is real damn fast not even a minute omfg could DICE have gotten something right!!!!! anyways GOOD WORK DICE

Meh I think people are just mad because they dont think a small easily work aroundable delay to standing from prone, and a crappy anti dolphin dive fix is worth the major excess in lag and disconnects and all the crappy balance issues and other crap they implemented..
