You have text outside the title box and before the CSS coding in the <HEAD> section
You have three seperate CSS sections in the header, put everything in one set of tags
You use CSS and then use <div style...> to define how DIV sections look, that completely defeats the object of having CSS, make it <div id="blahblah"> and put the "Style" tags in the CSS information in the header in this format:
    #blah blah { blah: one; blah: two }
Every image should have an extra tag: alt="Description Of Image" before the '>'
What a loser. Sorry, had to be said.

Hey, I'm 16, could you do that while juggling exams and social life?

I think your intial comment summed it all up for me, "I'm a web designer"

Well I'm not. Sorry But I'm not, I guess you'll just have to live with that.

I guess no one has ever heard of constructive criticism....

Glitz is nothing what he is talking about he is talking about proper website construction which would benifit your site by making it more acessible...

You made the site to spread information and in hopes that it would be popular. So making it work good and allowing spiders to crawl it properly would make all those wonderful things come true.

Your site is fine, no worries. Lots of good info. The sorry Web designer was either trying to help or show-off. In either case, he presented his comments poorly which might lead some to think he's as poor at WEB design as he is at giving feedback. One thing you might take away from this is that when you put yourself out there for the world, you're going to take some flak. It will be useful to you to develop a thick skin. Kudos to you on the good work you're doing.

I'm not a webdesigner but known well for bitching :P
                1. The white really does hurt one's eyes, but if you click through all of them the white will go away
                2. Seen much worse, but wouldn't want it for myself.
... The rest is not for me to say anything about.

Re: got lag? here's your fix.

My BF2 runs fine except for this problem:

If I have textures on high, karkand and sharqi's FPS goes down to 3-9 DPS if I look towards the center of the map (even if I'm staring at a building wall....just as long as I'm facing the middle of the map). If I face away, or play any other maps, I have my normal 50 DPS. Setting textures to medium and everything else on high keeps it on a constant 50 DPS regardless of map.

I don't recommend ever putting any program on HIGH PRIORITY. You could cause OS instability by doing that. Above Normal is about the highest you should go.

I second that. If you're going to increase any application's priority (besides games), be prepared to go find something else to do while that program runs because it will be painful to try and 'multi-task.'

Games are an exception because they are the only programs you are really running. But if you, for example, set WinRAR's priority to 'above normal' while compressing some huge file, and try and check your e-mail or surf TBF2, you'll get some stuttering.

You mean because I'm also 16 and I also just did my GCSE exams WHILE I BUILT MY OWN WEBSITE IN VALID XHTML AND CSS - www.inmotionmedia.co.uk - http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=ww...ionmedia.co.uk

I think you will find that the ALT tag and DOCTYPE bits are browser REQUIREMENTS, and text outside of HTML tag is a valid error.

Well, that must be why with every web template I have made and used I have been asked if it was a proffesional template or if I had made it myself...and why I now run a web design business?

edit: shuffled some sentences a bit.

Well whoopity doo, Mr. AnalWebTemplateDesignMasterLeeham, keep up your work/communication skills as you do now, you will be a financial success, yet at the same time a social LOSER.......

Thanks to guitarjunkie for posting his "fixes". I tried them on my old PC and found a decent increase in performance, mainly with the PB Sleep option, and AGP Aperture adjustment.
