The storyline is rediculous. Ukraine vs. Us and Germany? WTF? People in the Ukraine can't afford milk let alone a tank.

The gameplay might be ok I'll try more of it tonight. Only one weapon per kit will get kinda boring. I think it will get old just like anything else.

I think most of the hype is just due to newness. People call battlefield 2 a pile of s h i t then hover around it like flies (posting in forums and the like). BF series are great games. The diversity and all the unlocks and kit variations are awesome (especially in the upcomming 2142).

Though I look forward to any mod contributions I'll be objective about it and not go bonkers merely because it is new. I think some people express support for mods as a way to show hate for EA/Dice.

Most fictional wars have storylines lthat are kind of hard to believe but could happen in WW2 very few knew that Germany could be so powerfull. BF2142 has kind of a hard to believe story line to. why would the EU defend Africa When the PAC was invading europe???

Great mod and the stat system WILL NOT have ranks,medals, or ribbons based on kills or teamworkpoints so no stat whore

I played for a couple hours. I even had Drunken Pirate on my squad a couple rounds. I will still give it some more time, it is a good diversion, but I don't think I am completely sold on it like I was with Desert Combat.

I Dled and tried PoE2.

I don't like it that much, seeing as I'm a sniper/long range shooter its just not my type of mod, its mostly based on infantry/armour combat.

If your a sniper, DON'T GET IT.

Have you tried the 50 Cal. Sniper?

I'm a huge BF2 fan (vanille, SF, EF, AF) but I wont download this mod for the simple reason that it's not ranked ... so sorry

2 Ranked Servers in POE2, keep a sharp eye, who knows?

I'm glad POE2 came out, something more exciting than just spawning on the last CP of ours in BF2 vanilla and get spawn camped.

hi.

I played a bit on PoE2, and its pretty much just a tank lover's wet-dream.(for most of the maps anyway). Its fun though. The maps seem very thought out, tons of detail(my comp even lags quite a bit every once in a while. It never lags in vanilla), but most maps seem very tank oriented but thank goodness there are plenty of tanks to go around!

I love the "Fallen" map, but it is the only infantry map I have found, are there any other infantry based maps? If so, what are they called? These questions are for anyone to answer. Please do :)

Yeah, Fallen, love that map, its like no vehicles and your in a forest, totally and absolutly COOL! The fog adds up the excitement

Have you been on the infantry map were its like a town going up a hill were you only get an unarmed apc and light vehiclas and loads of buildings you can go inside thats my favourite map ATM i just dont know its name so i cant find it lol.

just finished playin and i love it. for those who havent played it, just imagine vBF2 with better vehicles, cooler weapons, more balanced maps and no uncap raping. oh yea there is blood too. just about every great idea not implemented in any BF2 games and a few that were. plus, there is a bonus of a severe lack of smacktards whoring and statpadding. dont get me wrong, i love my badges but there soooo many benefits to PoE2 i doubt ill be playin ranked vBF2 of SF for quite some time.

Everyone is saying, "this is what BF2 should have been." That is the same thing that was said when all the other mods came out. It will be said again when DCON is unleashed as well.
The only problem with it is that there seems to be even more bunny hoppers in POE2 than I've ever seen in BF2. Lame little no-skilled punks infesting the game...
