Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
My UK DSL is fine. 4mbps down (distance from the telephone exchange prevents me from having 8mb at the same price though ) 448kbps up. £25 per month. No limits. Ping 15ms.
Hooooooooooly crap. Unless the AUD is worth one or two US quarters, then, damn, that's a hefty price. I feel better about my $42US per month cable at an *advertised* 4MBs speed. Maybe I'll quit looking for the $25/month DSL deals.
But I do hate hate hate writing a $142 check every month for crappy television + internet. That's almost a car payment.
Telephone, Cellphone, Satellite dish and internet all comes to roughly 250 a month at my home. Everything is month to month and free from the early ternimation fees.
We are moving towards annual payments and consolidation of all services to one Fiber line and junk the rest of the stuff.
I have sympatico high speed dail-up and works smoothly just as long as there isnt too much traffic on hub. I should be switching to cable in September. I hope anyway.
I have Sympatico too , I actually worked for them. It's DSL and it's exactly as fast as Videotron ( cable ) . For High Speed at least ... I wouldn't switch for cable not even if it's FREE. They upgraded from 3Mb to 5 or 6Mb down a couple of months ago, didn't you knew, and that's exactly how fast cable is also and cable has a Download 20Gb and Upload 10 Gb limit. Can you sleep properly when you know you have a limit on something?!? Do not make that mistake buddy ... Sympatico is STILL the ONLY ONE with no traffic limit YET ...
OMG?? That looks worse then my NZ connection. I thought you guys had better, maybe just your location?
I'm using 3500/512k - Cost $100 NZ per month ($63 US). 20GB OnPeak 20GB OffPeak. AVG Ping on Servers 45
Im in Melbourne. The max we can get is 1500/256 (ADSL) or we can get ADSL2+ (Not on my exchange yet) which is UP TO 24000/1000 but you only get that speed if your next door to the exchange.
Why in gods name New Zealand has 3500/512K if bloody beyond me. Is it a standard home connection? Or some kind of work/office connection?
I had roadrunner and had to downgrade to DSL when I moved. It's okay, but I miss roadrunner alot. My ping stays around 90 now as with roadrunner it barely ever went over 40.
I have DSL (ADSL; whatever that is) in Korea, and had DSL back in California. The latter was terrible, it would disconnect automatically if not used for hours and I could not reconnect other than restarting the computer. Then there were frequent occurences of connection troubles as I was playing BF2, it was amazingly frustrating enough that I prefer DSL in Korea even though I would play at 150 - 250 ping in U.S. servers. Interestingly enough, the download speed here to U.S. is faster than when I was in California....
