See the thing is he was never on any of those types of server, but of course sometimes playing on a almost dead server and having long rounds would get high points. But Ice is not a stat padder or anything like that, he is a great guy who for some inexplicable reason got F'ed over by the system.

He must have been caught on a "High Points" server or maybe P & K only...

No he is very carefull about things like that.

We have thrown someone out of our clan for that before. We have clan rules about using any server which would break the rules.

I am prepared to put myself on the line completely as reference that this guy would not have broken rules like that.

The only times he ever really played was on our server and we have never allowed anything like that :)

stop saying 'grow up ' , i would be very anoyed if this happened to me , 1st off i have palyed for this game and i dont expect to have it thrown back in my face .2ndly they have no harc eveidence it was due to stats padding , i have big scores due to the 16 on a 64 servers and that is hardly stats padding i like to paly with no lag , no noobs , no everybody's medic servers .

I can’t believe this... they can’t delete acounts like this without notice just because someone got
a score over 300 + in a round. In my stats I have 1 round with the MEC of 654 points and another one of 438 with USA. How I got it? Played Medic in a P&K only server couple times... What??
Yes I am very good with pistols and knife and Defib so what? EA doesnt realise how many P&K servers there is out there do they!! Who here never played in one of them? Those are real Ranked servers and if they are there for me to play in I think I have the right to do so! But I think I played there only a couple times and to be honest I got my expert knife on a normal server... If EA reset my stats I will never buy one of there game ever!! I am a 24 yold working full time and playing couple hours a week and I enjoy the stats system because I can compare with other players and it gives more challenge to the game. If EA ever do that I think there going to ear from us!:evil:

Well to be honest we have not seen him much since the reset. That is one of the reason I am so foreward on this. He is a good friend and a great person to have as a clan mate.

I would hate it if he decided he could not be arsed with the game anymore after this so thats why im standing up for him on here and trying to get support on his behalf.

Who would not do the same for a friend?

One other thing I'll mention which will point out the person in question.

One night on our team speak there were a few of us left. Ice had just left and we decided to go for a round of Special Forces. Anyway we found a server in the server list and joined.

It was a normal game, 32 player server running Warlord. After 5 mins on the server Ice came back into team speak...his words were simple "what the hell are you 3 doing on a PK server"....what the hell. It wasnt until we left the server and looked on tracker that we noticed the actual server was a PK server. The game was played normally but due to the extra long name the "Pistol & Knives only" section of the name was off the end of the text so we could not see it.

He had noticed in tracker the name of the server we were on and came told us.

You seee he is very observant and very against servers like this.

I am usually careful but on this occasion we could not see full name in server list and the game was running normally so we were not aware of it.

I've said before, if it is exactly as you've described then it does seem strange, but we dont know what BFROE have received, so its a lil tough to say, isnt it?

I think he was meaning that the server had just enough to get started, but never got heavily populated.

I understand what you mean, but after working relatively hard getting all the unlock and medals and stuff, and seeing that 2142 is coming out in october, what would be the point of trying again to get that status that player spent about a year working up.

You are right and I hope something can be shed on the situation so we can either accept the reason ( im sure there is no reason ) or that the mistake will be aired so he can clear his name.

but thats still a massive emphasis on points, which is all-too common.

ultimately dont we play for fun?? hell, i couldnt care less if my stats got reset tomorrow (oughtnt happen, havent done anything) because it doesnt stop me playing the game!

Pre 1.3 i was ignorant of the facts about High Point servers being illegal becasue i never went to BFROE, then i visited the site and read the actual rules and stuff. But it is interesting to note that forum members are a small majority of the BF2 players, so how do other BF2 players who are not informed enough to know the rules or view forums, recieve info about the ROE of BF2?
