I'm not getting 2142, it's not my thing, all this futuristic stuff does not do it for me.

I'm just glad all the kids and idiots will be more interested in 2142 so they will leave BF2 for 2142, fingers crossed!

Mmm could be right.
I seem to go in stages.Played loads of SF when i first got it, didn't play vanilla for weeks.
Then mixed the two. Then the expansions came out so played loads of them.
Keep going back to SF though, coz it is REALLY GOOD!!
Depends what mood im in, as to what i'll play. That's the beauty of BF2

If you think you're dealing with anything close to reality w/BF2 you're crazy.
Walking mech will be no less realistic than parachuting off buildings or any of the hundreds of other things in BF2 that are unrealistic.

they made it about as realistic as they could there will always be bugs but moderen combat is more realistic then lasers and mechs.

and also SF is preety much dead only 1/30th the amount of ranked servers as vanila bf2. i predict 2142 will start out with about 1/2 of the amount of ranked servers as bf2 and then slowly die out over the next year.

I think the younger crowd wil be more drawn to 2142 so bf2 will lose alot of smacktard vehicle tkers.

here is how i think the battlefield community will look in 6 months. i have not played any of the 2 mods so this is all speculation.

PoE2=30%
Fh2=20%
bf2=30%
2142=20%

k il looked at the 2 mods and now have redid my prediction

Poe2=25%
FH2=20%
Desert Conflict= 10%
USI= 10%
bf2=15%
2142=15%
other mods= 5%

WIthin a year i tihnk 2142 would not of been able to even meet half of bf2s succes and EA/Dice may have to leave The battlefield series after the mods take over.

Last time in was on SF2 i notice Sergeant Major flags+ everywhere!! Think that is the new place to go!! There's nothing better than shooting a major in the head with a M24!!!

I've already preordered BF2142 and plan on playing it as soon as I can get my hands on it.

I'll abandon BF2 probably the second I get BF2142, because, EA/Dice would of nerfed it too far and I want to play a fresh game that's not hampered with over nerfing.
