Not BF2142!

I don't know about everyone else but im happy with BF2 and do not plan on going to 2142, im sure it's good but.......? What's everyone elses thoughts?

I'm not getting 2142, it's not my thing, all this futuristic stuff does not do it for me.

I'm just glad all the kids and idiots will be more interested in 2142 so they will leave BF2 for 2142, fingers crossed! :)

I'll be playing both. I love hte modern combat aspect of BF2, but I also reminisce alot of the Halo days. This will tide me over for an online futristic shooter. Quake Wars too. Heck, I'm picking up every well publicizied online shooter between now and 2015.

I think EA is going to find out that people want to play games based on todays warfare senerios, not futuristic stuff. I will carefully read the reviews / play the on-line demo and then make a decision. My guess is this new one will go down like Battlefield Vietnam did.

I'm with you on this one daliup, I like my realistic games.

Once the kids and the cheats go we'll be able to play a proper game.

I will get 2142, but hadn't thought about the kids and cheats getting it too.

Which in turn WILL make BF2 better without so many smacktards on it.

"Arcade style" shooter.

If you think you're dealing with anything close to reality w/BF2 you're crazy.
Walking mech will be no less realistic than parachuting off buildings or any of the hundreds of other things in BF2 that are unrealistic.
