It's aboot time somebody did something aboot this! I hate the stat padders and their scheming ways. I hope they all get wiped and this madness does not carry over to 2142. That's all I have to say aboot this. And yes I say aboot as a tribute to Canada, home of beer & hockey-

I disagree with this STRONGLY...

This Part only..
1. Customer support will strip the stats from those caught on the server at the time of discovery and anyone sharing a clan tag with the offenders that seem to have any anomalous stats.

What if you left the clan, and your no longer in that clan, but they get caught? What if you were on vacation, and you come back to see that you got banned...?

We ban stat padders on our servers and keep an eye out for glitchers too.

Can you throw CLAN STACKING in the BFROE also? Seems too many clans stack their side with CLAN members or other CLANS to thieir side.While the pubs are on the other side getting slaughtered by (such as clan 111 or by clan 222).Thus two clans are stacking to one side and pubs on another ( people with no tags).

Clan stacking, you mean TEAM WORK don't you ?
seems you can't see thru the blood from the wounds the opposing team gave ya to really appreciate the kickin ya got...and that was from TEAMWORK. Don't B Haten. This games whole concept is teamwork , i.e. intergrated VOIP and Squads . If you work as a team and communicate with your team mates , then it should not matter becuse you will be on common ground , but if you lone wolf it and dont use voip , vent , TS , you are not really a team player. just my opinion of course , Salute.

I dont have a problem with all the clan members being on one team. Please remember though that you couldnt do this with out the guys on the other team.
Now what about fair play? Most of the clan sponsered servers Ive been to, lately, have the server set to prevent the other team from useing unlocks or they have about 7 players who arent there on the enemy team so the game is really a 20 on 12 route. Is that the only way your clan can win a game? It sure looks that way to me. The only answer I can come up with is that you must fear me (others too) and cant beat me any other way. That is truly a sad thing because Im only an average player. It doesnt say much for your clan does it. . . . . . . . .Red

I agree that stat padding is weak and something should be done.
However, I believe NOTHING will happen to them.
It's just idle threats to scare away the evil stat padders.
Recently, I found myself on a horrible stat padding server and took lots of screen shots.
I have screen shots of their clan saying stuff like "don't cap the flags" and other screen shots that show them repeatedly killing each other with knives.
I looked up the stats of one of their players and it's obvious that they are padders. This guy was an expert knife with hardly any other weapon usage.
This was the guy that kicked me when I made a "padding" comment.
He was too busy knifing his clan mates to notice I rejoined and started taking screen shots. Normally, I could give a sh!#. After being kicked, I reported them.
Then I followed the ruled and turned them in with all the required information.
NOTHING WAS DONE. What a surprise!

I'm glad they are cracking down. We take this VERY seriously and have removed members over it. I take pride in earning my badges and awards. Its fun to play for them. Puts more than just points into the game.

Anyways, this is a topic we recieved wind of back at the onset of BF2 from our provider. Glad to see its reinstated.

On the other side of the coin, how about a 1.4 patch update??? Would be nice to fix some of these issues we have.

ROE is a complete joke.

We had to sort out a few clanmembers for statspadding, I filed a report, nothing happened. This was four month ago.
These members founded a clan, rented a ranked Server from I3D and configured it as a K&P Server. Also filed this, with screenshots, nothing happened.

It's kinda barefaced from ROE staff to advertise a non-existant service.

you guys act as if you put your rank/global rank on your resume.. you wanna talk about stat padding?
what about getting kicked for being a passanger in a jet an admin wants?
what about getting tk'ed by an admin for a vehicle?
what about not allowing base rapping?

these are all things that alter game play so that others can be handed a better chance at points or time in a vehicle. screw all this ... waaa knife and pistol crap. if you don't like it, don't play on it.
This being the downside to the ranking system... everyone's soooo concerned about what others are doing. just shut up and play, as long as they're not using an exploit... who gives a crap?

I say create servers specifically FOR stat padding.
I play for stats for myself only.. not to see where i stand in the world.
I'm not trying to compete to be the 'best' bf2 player, i have better things to do.

Essentially if you created servers specifically for stat padders... they'd go there, and leave the other ranked servers to those of us that wanna just play and if we get better then YAY if not...hmm work harder.

I love the idea of a ranking system cause it gives me some goals... i'm not JUST playing a game anymore. It's not a GREAT achievement but hey, something to shoot for as long as you're playing games.

Are you kidding me? I love to go in against them with a squad of nobodies and kick their asses! Yes it does happen once in a while when the right people show up. Also to be the number one player above their whole clan puts a smile on my face!

Ok I honestly think that stats padding is bad everyone does. It just pisses people off. But saying that a p/k server is bad?!?! Are you kidding me thats how I got my expert Knife badge. I like playing on those servers I like it that I can go and kill people without having to worry about having a 50 cal bullet put in my head by a sniper thats sitting all the way across the map. Clan pay for their servers THEY PAY for them not EA I think that you should just leave the clans alone.
