Apparanly some of you didn't finish reading the whole sentence about those who share the clan tags.

Customer support will strip the stats from those caught on the server at the time of discovery and anyone sharing a clan tag with the offenders that seem to have any anomalous stats.

That means that they will probably look at the other clan mates to see discrepencies in their stats (i.e. knife/pistol kills, fav victim kills, etc.

Thats the way to do it too. I guarantee that 99% of the time that if a few clan mates are doing it & get caught.... they ALL are!!

Is that considered guilt by association? Seems a little unfair but at least they're checking to stats for unusal things rather than just doing a mass clan reset.

That sounds like profiling too....wait....EA is profiling!!....call the Civil Liberties Union! My rights are being violated!! OMFG!! :laugh:

Scout, I would like for BF2ROE's site to have a daily/weekly list of all the people busted and the reasoning behind the reset. It would be interesting to see the list =) Hall of Shame you could call it. If you show the public the numbers, then they will surely listen and know that people DO get reset. It is kind of the same principle of beheading a criminal and hanging their heads up for the public to see to strike fear into them.... hehe ofcourse the punishment will not be as cruel =P

If your a team player that does a fine job supporting the guys in your squad, now thats what matters.

stats mean nowt once you get all the unlocks u want, and most of them are ****e anyway - I don't condone stat padding but what's wrong with having a laugh every so often and having a knife only round like you would have done in the old CS days? too serious to have fun? get a girlfriend

EA should spend more time fixing the game bugs and glitches rather than worry about stat padders and k/p servers, who really cares .. Don't get me wrong here I do not condone Stat padding, but there are bigger issues at hand here....

I agree 100%! So many glitches and stuff, who cares about stat padding when the game is full of glitches? I dont.

So I get what you all are saying about the Knife and Pistol servers, but seriously what's the worst that can happen... A person gets their expert knife and pistol badges, who cares. If they don't have over 15 hours of time in a kit they won't get their vetran badges anyway.

But on the other hand, i see where you are coming from, they could build up their heals points, repair points whatever. I won't deny it, I played on a knife and pistol server before, then after one round of seeing how rediculous the points were I left. I didn't think much of it at first you know the typical "Oh knife and pistol only nice I can work on my pistol accuracy." I thought nothing more of it than that. My gaming community is trying to get more people so what ever server we see open (usually city maps) we flock to, to try and pick up new members. Not to pad our stats.

Now about the high points server crap that everyone seems to be complaining about, they are out there and there are tons of them, everyone could play one sooner or later, regardless if its a 16 man server on a 16 man map, the points will be just as high if its a 16 man server on a 64 man map. I've played on both. I prefer the smaller servers ie 16 and 32 as apposed to the 64 because i like the longer rounds. But i also like the larger maps. Point capping is insane on these maps, 8 men could be in one area 8 in another capping points and then in between you have people just murdering eachother. These server are more fun than the bum rush servers (although i enjoy the bum rush servers with a good team.)

So kill the k/p servers (i understand the issue here) but don't go killing the high point servers just because they say high points, some people actually like playing longer rounds on bigger maps.
