Nope. It's technically a "new" game...maybe some unique minute reward for having bf2 on your computer after you install 2142.

its a new game, so no. From what i have heard, the guns are alot more balances whether you are a high rank or not. So the incentive to rank up may become much less.

No, simply wouldn't make sence as the stats will have different numbers on it. Wouldn't make sence to see your bf2 sniper rifle accuracy on 2142.

I'd say no, but people who own BF2 should get an award, like in Need for Speed, I have it for the PS2 and if you have number 1 then if you buy number 2 it scans your memory card and it will add a bonus amount of cash since you have Need for Speed 1.

Maybe you should get an award like a free unlock since I heard theres going to be like 30 which is pretty nuts.

But the only problem I see is everyone rushing to get points to be number one.

No way man....it wouldnt be fair to the guys who just picked up BF...the guys who never played 1 or 2 or anything. They will be starting out as PVT and youll be 1sgt with all available weapons...way to lopsided

As others said, I think that certain thing should be kept, not global score or wepons but some awards maybe and a bonus for having BF2 on the comp.
