Not really. We scrim from time to time (and I pulled SL duty in the first scrim we did... and we kicked arse while having a blast), but it's a different sorta thing. Since it's casual scrimming the game play is comp-like, but without the stress of "we MUST win at all costs" and you don't have to worry as much if RL keeps you from making the match (which happens to me way too much for me to consider being a *serious* comp player).

Hehe, I do recall a practice where I was DDing, C4 chucking, and BHing all over the place. A couple mates were getting a little ticked with my behaviour. "You NEVER play like that! What's going on??"
"Hey, if you wanna compete, you'd better get used to it.".

Yes, I can pull off my "ethical" kid gloves, I useually just don't like to.


Edit: just as an FYI, R2 is more or less just a bunch of players who like to play and have fun. We have our moments of glory, but most of us are much more interested in a good fun pub round than being all serious about the games we play.
