Smart people would also use proper grammar and capitals...but hey, it's an imperfect world. Also, what does investing in stocks have anything to do with wanting to play a game? I mean, I realize your attempting to draw a parallel between the two, but it's a pretty miserable analogy.

The bottom line is that all you anti EA/DiCE/BF2/BF2142 kids need to stop trying to infect other gamers who just want to play a game. Don’t get all pissy just because YOU don’t like BF2 - even though you’re posting on a forum dedicated to its existence…

To quickly sum up: Sit down, shut up, and most importantly, stop playing videogames if you’re gonna moan like a 5 year old brat.

Aha yeah, I’ve been waiting for the forum english professor to pop up and correct my grammar.

i am not anti EA/DICE. i own 3 games by EA (MOHAA, BF42 and BF2). i am only frustrated with how the pub scrubs demanded to dumb up the game and DICE listened to their demands, and the way they have handled the bugs/balance issues. it’s one thing to see them hard at work correcting their screw ups; it’s another when they’re ignoring us for months because they’re busy with their new release. that’s why i refuse their crap.

i come here to support the MODs and provide people (willing to listen/read) with FACTS and my 2 cents about the game. i realize that the truth hurts, hence why you’re so hostile toward people providing FACTS about bf2. fortunately you do have two choices; you can either ignore my posts or present me with FACTS that counter mine, otherwise your meaningless off topic (grammar) insults will be ignored.

P.S not to make excesses for the lack of my english vocabulary/grammar. i am a foreigner, and been living in the US for 12years, and proud to say i am fluent in arabic, chaldean and somewhat English (I can get around) . so please forgive my English. happy now

Yes, I definately will give them a second chance and gobble up BF2142 when it comes out. I have some of the best 500 hours of fun on this game and look forward to plenty more in BF2142.

Did you see that gameplay video? Apart from the blue muzzle flame, which seems kind of tacky and glued-on, the graphics and gameplay looks fun. Ill be getting this baby.

im am also proud to say that i will be buyiing 2142 i have never had a problem with bf2 except video probs because my gafx card sucked before i bought a new one. maybe u shud give it a shot and buy it give ea a second chance?

Despite all those problems, BF2 still is really fun and addicting. So, yes, I'm buying BF2142 unless it gets just plain horrific reviews of doom. Even if it's about the same as BF2, I don't think I would mind.

And besides, people will still buy BF2142. By the looks of it, most people who posted in this thread are planning to play it. These lame petitions are never going to work anyways... You can't just persuade everyone boycott something just because you don't like it. You're not in the magical land over the rainbow, silly.

If they dont fix the stability issues, and bugs (not gameplay issues) i wont buy ANY EA or DICE procuct.

I will try the beta or demo first. I do like the larger amount of unlocks/customization of its weapons but bf2142 still feels like a mod to me.
