If your a pro at flying the F35 then your doing your part by taking down J-10s. J10's usually dominate the f35's so its good to have a good f35 pilot taking out the enemy jets. Keep it up.

i do my best! a tactic me an my clan mate have practiced is where the 2 f35s fly in formation, one below one on top. when you see a 10 we go extreamly high to about 700 swoop down in the same formation an rockets away, most of them dont hit, but the odd 2 somtimes do

(BTW: the formation thing has nothin to do with it , it just looks cool lol )

It should be the reason you play Wake. Because, when your on U.S. Forces and you take the whole map on a 32/64 server you accomplished something in this game.

If I want to invade from a carrier I can also play, Dalian, Oman, or Zatar and not have to worry which noob is going to spawn camp the carrier with a J10.

Well, say thank you to Dice for taking out squad hopping, which gave a chance to the US to get on land on that map. Now it's pretty much impossible.

the noob isnt the j10 pilot, its the us team.

Only noobs spawn camp because they don't know any other way to get kills.

the PLA team is F*cked, i was USMC i bailed out of jet when a J10 was shooting me, landed on airfield and looked at the china soldiers, and i walked right past them and they didnt even notice me, like how stupid can they get

pretty nice trick is to get F35.. take off and jump out on Chinese airfield.. climb to rooftop next to flag and take flag this way alone.. by killing single infantrymen one by one with gun or with c4..they usually have no idea you could be on top of the roof and they run over the house.. then I usually just shot them behind..tank is also quite easy to kill with c4 from rooftop.. unless until tanker is not aware about your position

imo its basicly pointless to try flying on F35-s for bombing unless Chinese airfield is taken and all J10-s are down.. J10 is powerful enough to own both f35-s alone if pilot has already average skill.. really skilled pilot in J10 is like permanent hemorroid in ***..

How to win Wake:

-Spawn and take the F-35, blow some guy's brains out if you have to because he'll probalby end up being cannon fodder for the J-10's anyways

-Make a squad

-Have 5 friends join the squad but not spawn, you should be Spec Ops, get 2 AT, 2 medic and a support

-Take off and bail over airfield, land

-Have friends spawn on you

-Game

Yea I always ***** to the team for the first 5 minutes if I'm not int he JSF to climb to atleast 400ft before making the approach. But BF2 players or the majority anyway are very impatient and can't wait that extra 2-3 minutes it takes to climb high.

Call me desperate, but I have my graphics down to low so my map loads in about a minute or less, including "Client Data". So what I do, is join USMC, and hop in the F35. Fly to about 560 feet, and when over airfield, jump out. I open my parachute a split second before the ground gets me, and usually it is captured before most of the players can join. Then I jump in F-18 and rape it up.

Simple enough, the US loses without good teamwork. Its the ultimate teamwork required map.

There are maps that require more teamwork thatn Wake for sure. Thats why TG doesnt put it in their map cycle.

Heh today on FuShe Pass I flipped my DPV on one of the mountain roads and fell down a cliff right next to PLA-owned Bridge Base. I had only 1 bar of health and was a medic. I pulled out the med bag to heal myself when an APC pulled out of the base. The turret looked right at me but the dude drove right past me. Then two FAVs drove past me as well. I just shrugged and capped the base.

Wake is my favorite map, and my clan server is a 24/7 Wake server. The "magic trick" as my clan calls it is the F-35 squad leader rush to Airfield, having 3-4 people spawn on him when he lands at Airfield. Works amazingly well, everyone is already in their vehicles looking to rape the Essex/Island.
