.The p90 carries more ammo meaning less reloads as well the ammo has better ballistics than an underpowered 223. Not to mention it’s ambidextrous so any shooter can use it. Of course you can’t buy the armor piercing ammo but still a great personal defense weapon

id say f2000. the p90 has always seemed ugly in my opinion. plus doesnt the .223 have better balistics? not to mention the p90's ammo is expensive and the magazines seem like they are complex enough that they would break often. f2000 doesnt have an open bolt? eh, not like you're under fire and reload time matters.

I was jsut thinking that. Whats the hurry?. I would go with the F2000 so what if it takes a couple more seconds to reload. The P90 looks ugly to me with the longer barrel and at more expenisive clips. If you shoot alot you will end up saving money in the long run

Going "rat-tat-tat" with one pull of the trigger is fun, but it's not worth twenty years in Club Fed. I can wiggle my trigger finger on semi-auto pretty fast, and it'll only cost me a tenth or twentieth of the money.

FWIW, there's only ever been one crime committed with a legally owned and registered machine gun in the US, and that one was committed by a police officer gone bad. When you drop fifteen large on a gun and go through the trouble of tax stamp and background checks, you're not very likely to use that machine gun to hold up a liquor store.

A guy is being car chased for owning a full auto weapon. He gets chased over a few hunded miles, and drives right into California. The police catch him but they can't prosecute him because he's in California. :laugh:

You could buy the induvidual parts online and put them together. That's not illegal is it?

But it's still illegal to own it.

You can't seel or buy full auto weapons in the U.S.

Not quite correct...in most states, you can buy and own machine guns as long as they were made and registered before 1986. It'll cost you a $200 tax stamp on top of what you pay for the gun, and you have to wait three to six months for a local and Federal background check, but you can own full-auto hardware if you don't live in a state that prohibits them at the state level (like California).

Problem is that the date cutoff means a limited supply of "pre-'86" legally transferable machine guns, so prices are exorbitant. UZIs are a cheap way into machine guns at around $5,000, while a full-auto M16 or AK47 will run three times that. Belt-feds are about as expensive as a good new car. My gun store has a transferable HK33 rifle with a full-auto sear in it, but it'll cost you $15,000.

They're semi-auto. You can't seel or buy full auto weapons in the U.S. That's the PS90, the S standing for Sport. I'm pretty sure the F2000 also has some alternate designation to let people know it's semi-auto.

They are both civilian versions, so they are semi-auto. So it's not really a smg at all, more like a scaled-down carbine.
