what about common sense and ability to know balance and fair play. good ideas and ingenuity. clearly, that's not dice's criteria.
I think they are going to beta test it for obvious bugs based on the various types of gaming systems players use. I mean, not everyone owns a GOD machine or anything. Some hardware configurations may be prone to see increased sound/video glitches than others.

Sorry, but no chance of everyone getting it. Or I should say that there is no chance of that based on that interview that is floating around. The speaker says it will be limited to 10,000 or 15,000 people who play BF2. He doesn't go into anything more specific than that unfortunately.

The sir community should test the 2142. We would **** it up so bad and find like every glitch. Course we are moving to QW:ET (Thank GOD) But it would work for 1.4

Well established, and large clans will be invited first, im fairly sure about this, in my own mind at least.
Collin said in that video that they (dice) are EXTREMELY intrested in what clans think, due to the fact, that they realize clans set out to exploit every feature both obvious ones, and the not so obvious ones.
Unfortunatly, it seems that every time a company, does something along these lines, the beta testor guys, always sucumb to trying to be Dice's friend, and say............."good job guys, nothing wrong". When in fact they should have whined about this, or that, and in the end Dice sends out something final that should have never been shipped.
I also feel comfortable, knowing that the real obvious lameness being spilled into the game by some folks.....Dice does not like. And fully didnt expect folks to do them.
In the end, I think from a sales point, clans are a good way to start, simply because of the numbers reached, by doing so little.
However on that same coin, it could be a mistake, since alot of clans are gonna figure things out that are "lame" and keep to themselves, instead of reporting it, to make the final game better.

they should make it so that the top 15,000 get the beta, no random drawing or anything complicated that DICE has to worry about. If they did something too complicated they might send the files to AA players, lol!

Lol, i'm an AA player, lucky me, anyways, they must check that the players are still active players.
