We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Since then, I've come to accept baseraping as a reality and will employ the dirty trick when needed. If others do it to me, well... let's just say I'll return the favor when I get back in the air.
Third video is getting recorded tomorrow night and will most likely be processed/ready for upload by Wednesday night. Unless something changes, I'm going with Kubra Dam...
- Daqing: not enough support for it.
- Gulf: basically Dalian with one heli... no point.
- Fushe: hard to find a server with that one on rotation.
Kubra is popular, has plenty of target opportunities, allows for acrobatics aka. stupid sh*t, has plenty of available helis so I don't have to play the waiting game (especially important for my video in case I die), etc...
I would've liked to do Daqing for the same reasons but people just don't want to see it.
Sloi, don't forget to add the rapid descent in the cobra if possible, still waiting to see that :-)
One thing I noticed in your commentary sound track was a "clicking" sound... It sounds like metal and plastic hitting together. After seeing the pic of your desk, I notice a stack of poker chips. Are you manipulating them in your hand as you recorded it, and that's what I'm hearing?

Eagerly awaiting the new vid.
I was chip shuffling during the commentary recording. Sorry, bad poker habit :)
... and yes, I plan on adding a few things to this one:
- rapid descent (maybe once or twice, depending on need)
- gunning alone (ala redux)
- using only dumb missiles against an enemy heli
but personaly i realy hope that if dice provides us with a new patch, then seat-switching in the helicopters will be disabled.
thats realy annoying. you get into a helicopter as gunner and the pilot screams "hop out!" and if you dont, then he quite often starts, flys towards a crane or something, he hops out and you crash and die.....
thats not teamplay, thats just lame.
and most of the time the team with those seat-switching muppets is loosing.

They will not disable it, because they don't know how to. Also, it is teamplay, it gives an extra guy on the ground, and Usually, that person soloing is good, and will take out most, if not all armor, and take out anything in the air (par jets). Through my experiences, the team with the soloer is ALWAYS the team winning, you just sound like you suck in the gunner seat, and whined when you got red lined.
They could always change the 4 seconds of spin to 0, making the heli drop once a pilot exits his seat. That wouldn't stop high-altitude soloing though...
I think people should just accept that it's here to stay.
