i normally get accepted as commander before anyone else has loaded the level

i notice u say multiplay servers, if u want to command ask me and i'll take it and let u have it shortly after. providing you spot people....

Very Hard. Even when you have over 100k Global points you probalby won't get commander.

I have been accepted as commander at least 2-3 times on ranked servers. I am only Corporal, and my global score is 1,707 :) To be honest though, I have refused to take the Commander role every time it has happened. I know nothing about being Commander, and I am not going to let my team pay for my lack of knowledge.

then why the hell do you apply for it? lol

I am only a seargent but command often on my clan server. They know i'm good so will often apply for the role then resign just so i can have it. I have never lost a game while being commander. One piece of advice i can offer is be an engineer and find a hiding place near your assets so you can repair yourself and don't need to keep asking others....Also, make sure your squads always have orders and promt unassigned people to always squad up.
IMO not many people like being commander so aslong as you apply at the START of every round you will get it often enough...

It must be my new keyboard, the black Microsoft 500 wired something. It has the Page up / down keys placed differently than usual, and i have pushed the wrong buttons many times since I bought it, only getting used to it now.

Anyway, whenever I want to try the Commander toys, I create an empty local server, or play on an almost empty server (before sufficiant number of people join for a map to start) :)

You got any tips to help me find out how to be a commander if I'm a corporal. It's so hard to be a commander when you have a lower rank than others!

When I was an E-7 I didn't have any problems at all. I didn't try before that.

The idea of a higher rank is to show time spent in the game and level of points gained, thus this person should have a fair understanding of what is to be expected of a commander.. I don't think the position is suitable for those outranked..

get over yourself, commander should always be random, picked from whoever applied, dont let the persons rank decide for you what they know or dont know, since many people have a second account to just have fun

this doesnt bother me. im pretty high ranked. :) jus play more often and try to grab the chance when nobody wants to be commander. it will hapen.

I am only First Sergeant, and get the commander spot most of the time if I apply for it at the beginning of a round.
It also happens increasingly often that there is no commander during the whole round, so even a private could get the position if he applied during the round.

Coz they have ****ty accuracy and K/D ratios from noob days. Their own choice to go start a new account and loose their rank privileges/commander advantage/weapon unlocks, and waste all the decent account names. So yea, I think ranking for a commander is a good idea. Make's you want to play more to get it up there
