I love my rockets. Though the P90 is kinda crapy to. PP-19 is the best SMG IMO.

If he's such a lousy sniper that he gives you the time to put that walking-speed rocket into him before he shoots you again, then he deserves to die. Hell, he deserves to have the Sniper kit option permanently removed form his spawn screen.

what i find is tho you rarely actuallyt kill the tanks you shoot at becuase you need to fire that many rockets to kill them.

Give me C4 or AT mines for clearing tanks anyday.

Nothing is more satisfying than killing a vodnik full of infantry with your AT. Especially the kill you get from splash damage when the vodnik explodes and gets the guy who jumped out and thought he was safe.
I love AT. I will go after lone snipers at long range with it, and kill guys in an AA position once in a while. The weapon I use just depends on the situation. Short range, P90, long range AT.

Unlike bullets, AT rockets don't have bullet drop...thus you can shoot people at extream range. I killed a sniper on the top of the crane near the dam from the long bridge on Kubra Dam (~250m).

AT is my fav kit... (to the point of being practically exclusive)

Although I'm sure the original post was made in humour, I DO occasionally use the AT rocket to take out snipers.

The only other time I'll use it to take out infantry is when I have the AT rocket out and in zoom mode expecting a tank/APC/jeep to come around a corner, and instead I see a juicy melon-head.

Glad to see some people who agree that the AT kit isn't the "worthless n00b kit". The SRAW/ERYX are really good weapons if used correctly. I find that I use it best in Karkand, where I can circle the tank/APC with a ton of cover and camouflage. I found a good spot to ambush people, especially snipers, with it.

That was a great read mate, so so true.

A full speed car ragging it towards you with 3 people in it intent on bloodying the wheels with your face and eyes, you take aim and fire off a neat, crisp shot which connects beautifully, the fiery wreckage and their mangled carcas's come to a stop harmlessly at your feet. You light a ciggarette. This what BF2 should be about.

I must say I'm fragged a couple of people with my At missile at close range, but that's generally OMFG!HE'SRIGHHERE!!!! and I'm trying ot hunt tanks/APC's/Jeeps/Helo. However if you are a sniper and stupid enough to stick your head out, Bye bye.

Also getting medics who are reviving others is always good fun.

But generally I'm using my MP5 to kill people, and the missiles for vehicles, not people.

I must say the pilots on my local server have gotten full of them selves, and have stoped almost all evasive flying. I've picked up a whole bunch of kills from people like that in the last 2 weeks. And they aren't noobs, just over cocky.

I'm an AT addict also. It's a great kit, if you don't mind dying quite a bit. I don't know why people complain when they get sniped by us. Dead is dead, and they exposed themselves.

I like the AT kit, but I personally think the rocket launcher's damage should be increased alot. It takes about 3-4 rockets to take out a tank, and by the 2nd rocket they would've pin-pointed you and blasted your ass. :laugh: I enjoy it on maps like Karkand though

go for the treads, two simple shots and they are down. i dont usually use the rocket against people but usually if i see a tank and go hunt for it i have my SRAW/ENYX out ready, then if i see troops i usually just launch one at them. IMO Anti-Tank is the most versatile kit in the game, able to take troops out, bring helies down and even fluke shots which result in bringing jets down. now i wish they revert the P90 back to how it was, more damage and smaller clip.
