If they werent in the game or if I had to play with english voices only, I simply wouldn't play the game.
IMHO it makes 50% of the atmosphere to have the native voice over of the respective nation.

Ppl. who say they can't understand whats going on when they don't have english enabled are either small minded or ignorant. I takes only a few rounds till you can tell what the different voice over stands for plus you always have the chat to double check and also you see everything on the minimap when there are enemys spotted.
        It can't be much simpler.

Oh my yes. I went from one gig of cheapo ram to 2 gig of OCZ high-performance ram and the difference was night and day.

The load times went from 2-3 minutes to 30-60 seconds.

Got mine on. I like the atmosphere it adds. Plus, as many have said, it helpds ID enemy. They yakking in some language I don't know (like AMerican English), I kill 'em (I, for some reason, am on a MEC team an inordinate amount of time- get to play American hardly ever).

I would like to see the option given in future games instead of all english to add a foreign accent to english words for the likes of MEC or PLA. I was never good at foreign languages, and I'm sure I couldnt repeat any of the MEC babble, thats after 400+ hours playing too. I don't use all english at the minute though, its just too bland.

That reminds me of the voices they did for the EU in EF. Those are terrible, IMO.

Yeah they're terrible indeed. Uninspired, boring and completely out of place.
Maybe another reason no one plays Euro Force anymore.

Abdimul-mousfed!' And if Im in China and i hear the familiar sound of artillery whizzing towards me i'll be able to warn people by shouting 'tai-pow!'. this game can also be an educational experience noobs!

They'll look at you funny. Iranians are Persians, not Arabs, and they speak Farsi, not Arabic.

They all sound the same, so if you were blindfolded, you wouldn't know what team you were on.
