Im not for or against H.P. severs, but if they say you cant do that then they should realize whos letting them do it(EA).
But thats the point, server config admins need to have some flexibility between ranked servers, otherwise the servers would all be identical in gameplay.

Some servers are set up for shorter rounds, some servers play the booster packs, some only play urban maps, some admins like to limit the servers player capacity on larger maps to create a slower paced game and longer rounds.

Even though it takes the same amount of time to earn points in 1 round of high points server as 3 in a regular server, you dont have to wait for maps to load. Its non-stop action.

What does it really matter, when DiCE is changing the amount of people needed to start around. If they wanted to change HPS, they put some kind of levy against starting them.

The truth is, they are better for meeting requirements, not better for gaining a lot of points, because in the end you could get double/triple the amount of points in regular matches on Karkand or Sharqi if you know WTF you are doing.

Ya, agreed, I like the flow of action. Map loading annoys me, and it gives me the oppertunity to enjoy a map I like longer, before moving on to something that sucks...

This is exactly why I like 16 player slots on a 64-size Large map at standard ticket ratio. When you go on a 16 player slot server playing small map size with standard ticket ratio, it ends so fast, that by time you drove your vehicle or walked to where you're going the round is half way over and it feels like you're doing more loading than playing.

Yup, I enjoy them because I hate loading

We've got a High Points server and its advertised as such.

I've kept an eye on HP servers in the past and have played regularly on HEAPS and bf2rs have done nothing with them. As far as we're concerned the SPM on a HP server is the same as that on a regular server. The only benefit is that your final score for the round is slightly higher than normal - but thats just w*nk value.

As pointed out before it just means we have longer games and more vehicles at our disposal - and yes the ticket ratio is still 100%

It has value in the IAR requirments for some awards.

And for good scoring players your SPM is higher on HS servers.
