Are you f*cking kidding me, they got actually accurate LMGs (not only when prone), guns only accurate when ironsighted, sniper rifles that actually do 1s1k not only on head, sniper rifles that are actually accurate, no bunnyhopping, speedproning etc., frags that actually do damage, smokes that actually do something besides create lag etc. Anyways, it's pretty pathetic if you can't make it past basic training lol. Anyways, basically everybody in BF2 will get their ass whooped in Americas Army, because, guns are REALLY accurate (like the M16), there is no running up and going rambo, if people play americas army like they play BF2, they die FAST.

now that is so true.
i installed AA at the week end an loved it i also tryed playing it like bf2 an theres no chance.
i must say the responce an accuracy of the weapons in AA awsome i just wish i played it years ago but bf2 is still my favourite for the fun factor.
now im sorry to say AA is away better tactical fps than bf2 ever could be.
dont get me wrong i love bf2 as its was more fun no where near as serious as AA.
i'd love to see the whiners just try an get past boot camp lmfao.
the game it self is so hard many many many many many times have i gotten shot as soon as ive gotten in to a sniper postion lol its nails,
but a challenge at the same time.
the only problem now with bf2 is that theres so many whiners an asshats comin to the game.

I don't think you can fairly compare AA to BF2 as they are two completely different games, developed for different types of players.

Nope. This isn't a combat sim in case you never noticed.

I've always laughfed about how people will call hack rather than look at what they may have been doing at the time to make themselfs vulnerable, or perhaps even think about how it happened.

Jump into a prone (+strafe usually) is my bread and butter in close up/medium range infantry combat. And yes, it does really work, but I've noticed it does the best job against inexperienced/average players who would've otherwise had a chance with a lucky spray on me and maybe a random headshot. With a jump prone they don't get anywhere near aiming at me before they'd dead. Though I admit when I encounter players who use the same technique it's much more difficult to hit them, and I tend to die more often than against players who don't use, but I'd credit that fact to player experience more than anything.

Nothing wrong with jump to prone in my book because of one simple fact, and that being that it takes skill to jump to prone smoothly while maintaining an accurate aim. Because if you can't maintain the accurate aim while jump prone strafing you're much better off just going straight to a prone or crouch with none of the fancy footwork.

screw tha bunny hopping, I hate when someone takes me out by going prone with one shot as they are dropping to the ground. That is soooo frustrating. I could have full health and start shooting at someones back and they turn around, drop to prone and I am dead in one shot, even though I hit them prolly 10x. They need not hop or move at all, just turn, prone and I'm dead, all in one motion. sux...

That happened to me today on Wake. I'm lying down with my PKM taking a base, perfect health, when some anti tank guy dolphin dives on the ground and kills me in about 4 shots from his mp5. I was so ticked off. "Whatever happened to the 7 PKM bullets I pumped into you?"

Happens to me ALL the time, i'm defending a CP at Karkand with my MG36, then suddenly, some medic jumps, goes prone, and empties 3 shots into me, luckily getting a headshot, and i die, and i'm like WTF ever happened to those 50 rounds i sprayed you with while i was prone AND using ironsights?

It's just that people who can't play want to show that they're "good" by using "tactics" like bunnyhopping and dolphin to get kills easily. There's nothing wrong with lying prone and fighting, but there is something wrong when you're 10 feet from a guy on you jump onto your stomach to get an easy kill.

Then maybe people shouldn't tell others to go play sci-fi games and sh*t if they want to jump around all over the place. The door swings both ways..

A techinique which im seeing more of lately is ppl repeatedly jumping in the air then to prone like a frog going crazy at an all night rave. It is very difficult to hit them and is also ridiculously unrealistic. One player just now mocked me for my inability to shoot him . I tried doing the same thing but it seems pretty much impossible to do it on my setup- not that I want to - but I hate people exploiting things to get an unfair advantage. This technique must be stopped.
My second moan is about aircraft. Now whilst avoiding being shot down whilst an enemy plane was on your tail has always been testing, for me it now seems impossible to avoid being shot down once the warning alarms are sounding. This is the case no matter what death defing manouvres are done. I had put it down to ppl being better flyers than me. However recently whilst playing Wake Island I saw somebody on my own team fly low over the airbase and vitually do a hairpit turn and speed off into the blue yonder with little pause . Looked more like a rally car cornering than a plane manouvering. Hack or game design error?

-Couse you didn't configure your keysettings right...

No skill as in they can't just play the game normally without getting killed all the time. I know it takes certain skills to frogjump, I've tried it and it's not easy. But I don't need to do it to get kills, I'm fine playing normally. And I can hit them, it's just that it's annoying when you put 6 bullets from the inaccurate PKM into them and it does nothing, they nail you 3 or 4 times with an MP5 and you're toast.

I don't do it myself, but I find that it is nothing that the DAO can't take care of. It really is no big deal to me, I've been playing faster paced FPS games since AvP 1&2, UT99 and Tactical Ops, so those types of players are nothing I haven't run into before and it really is no big shake to me. Outside of those games, I've been used to people jumping all over in BF42/DC/BFV.

My personal opinion is that people mainly get mad about it because they have a hard time coping in a 1v1 against someone doing that. That's just my opinion though.

I only have problems with it when they just do it right the very second they see the enemy, and bullets seem to do nothing to them, then they manage to get a kill on you while on mid-dive it seems. . . I have no probs with shotguns though, you're right about that .

Shotgun + prone spammer = 2 points and a dead spammer.

To every tactic there is a counter tactic, you just gotta think outside the box to find it instead of your mommy handing it to you....sheeesh.... noobs.

For instance today, I played a guy who may have had an aimbot, but that doesnt really matter, he had 72 kills, 6 deaths and all with an M16, he killed me twice before I found a way to counter what he was doin' and I noobed him with a rocket 5 times and all of them were 50+yards too, then he accused me of bein a noob and I said, "You're d**n right I am and now I have 10 points, suck it up p***y"
