Ok now I know there is a "cone" of fire, and I know we cant be 100% accurate..but ever just have those shots were your crosshairs are on somes face/body they just miss..
This usually leads to them turning towards you and nailing you point blank.

My other is the blantant distance missing, thats those times when your prone, crouching, zoomed and you see your opponent. You fire of quick burst..then they just stop. No matter what you do..not a single shot nor a burst will hit..
Then they spot you..80% health, your saying "dear god WTF!! he is in my crosshairs, Im zoomed!! why cant I hit him??!".. 30% health.."Gah full auto!! spray and pray!!"..dead.

Sometimes I think its lag, maybe just random dumb luck.

Theres times when I can go round after round on point, then sometimes its liek nothing lands. Those times when every time you "lead" a person it hits..then the times that no matter what lead you put on them no moving shot will hit.

I guess in someways it gives a window of oppurtunity to a person and opens the game up to randomness, not a game of deadly accurate shots always.
Just nothing gets under my skin more then having the jump on someone, doing everything in your power to try to hit them....just to have them turn fire off a burst or two and finish you in a 1/3rd of the time you were firing away.

That's me 75% of the time. What I cannot stand is how you are sometimes prone and spot the guy 1st. But after you start shooting, they dive and kill you while they are in mid-air. Makes no f@cken sense! How is that even possible? Is there a special button I do not know about?

Yeah... this is something weird that ****ing happens to me all the time..

I use the L85A1 alot, along with the G36E. I can be prone, see a guy facing the other way that doesn't see me, I shoot at his head... he stops.... faces me.. I shoot again in bursts of 1 or 2, and he just stares at me. After about 10 ****ing shots, he starts WALKING AT ME with his ****ing SAW/RPK from ~80m, and procedes to kill me with his first 2 shots.

This game completely ****es me off sometimes... lol

That's it. I know what you mean though. It gets frustrating but I really don't know what it is that is doing it and I doubt it'll get fixed.

your not alone.

The poor netcoding in this game causes it. You see 5 positive 'hits' on an un-armored target, yet they flop to the ground and nail you on the roll.

I used to play 1v1 over ventrilo with a friend and often we'd get annoyed that every so often the bullets would hit and we'd see puffs of smoke/blood flying off to confirm the hit, but he takes no damage. I believe there are unstable hitboxes (poor netcode maybe?) in this game that have yet to be identified.

I've never seen blood puffs, just alot of smokey misses...

ya, i really believe its pure luck. i remember the time i was a sniper holding an M95. i turned a corner and an enemy suddenly appeared. i immediately jus fired off my m95, and that was an instant kill! i didnt even zoom or really aim. that guy was so shocked. but he didnt say anything though, but i was utterly amazed and learned to believe in luck.
