Your opinion on the DAO-12?

I have used this and I think it is a pretty good weapon at close range. I once took down 5 guys in a row with this thing. Anyway I want opinions..

Fine weapon but I would like it to have more power since it will only be used in close ranged and you can be taken out by snipers etc. Not if you find good cover but just for the people who are beginning with this weapon..

I'm a pretty big fan of it when i play the AT class. If you don't get jumpy with the trigger button it can definitely take out a good amount of people before reloading.....and to deal with people at range, well lets just say that I have significantly honed my pistol skills since using it

WEll, I think the gun rocks and, up close, is more likely to kill in 2 shots over any other rifle except the M24.
Has anyone here seen a BF2 video (I can't remember which one) of the player shooting and reloading the DAO-12 at the same time?
Can anyone here do that? I can sometimes when I practice, but it's so hard during a battle.
As far as I can tell it's fire, hit reload, then fire while clicking reload.
But I"m not sure..---as that doesn't always work.

The dao, though I haven't unlocked it yet rox. Every time that I've picked up an enemy/friendly kit with it - I HAVE PWNED. The recoil is dam huge so I would reccomend shooting it at medium short range. If too close...you get one shot off and have to reaim, the same goes for mid range. Otherwise, this weapon is great. DA BESTEST SUPER SHOTGUN EVA

It's best use is defending a flag. One man can hold back a lot of enemies. And against vehicles, just switch to AT launcher

Love the DAO, gives you a versitility in the AT kit, instead of the uselesss mp5...

I used it 100% of the time until I unlocked the p90...now I don't use the DAO anymore...I miss it a bit. But not enough to go back to it.

I don't like it. I rarely kill with it. Give me a P90 anyday. I'll use my hugetube to take out close-range targets like the noobs do.

I would only use it on Sharqi, where it rapes everything. Every other map sucks with it.

I use it on every map.
The trick is to charge the enemy with your weapon, and get as close as possible.
Do NOT stay back with the DAO, and do NOT givethe Medicà/Specops the time to take aim at you.
Most people are stunned when they see someone charging their location with a DAO
