It all goes down to who likes what. I would say that each system is for different people. I would like to own both the 360 and PS3, i was just saying that the Sony is promising to much. It all comes down to what kinda games you play and how big your wallet is. I will probually get the PS3 about a year or less after it's release so all the bugs will be out and the top games will already be released and hopefully the price has dropped. Lets switch discussion to the Wii. Personally I am really EXCITED about the system. I think it will be for the most true gamer. Nintendo is great they don't focus on all the graphics and special features and all that jazz they just want to be revolutionary and make great games. I already have my money for the Wii and I think it will be a huge step in the gaming industry. Plus with Red Steel witch takes full advantage of the Wii's revolutionary controller the Wii will really show companies who's boss. Just imagine gamers playing over the internet with a sword fight with the controller that you can move. What are yall's thoughts on the Wii.

dont like nintendos games myself i find them too childish and slanted towards the asian market (the manga look on many of thier titles) mario also really really annoys me for some conpletely illogical reason. ill admit unreservedly they are king of the handheld. and ill admit that a lightsaber style game or even a golf game with some tutorials in to inprove your swing etc etc has peaked my interest but i dont think that will 'swing' it for me.

we did steal nintendo's controller idea and our developers only knew of this add on weeks ahead of e3 when we showed it, that's because we are getting afraid and we have to steal our competitors' ideas. '' No thanks sony. Also, for your last two questions:

saying sony stole the idea is like saying nintendo and sony stole the idea of HD gaming for consoles from microsoft ffs.....by your logic you could say that pepsi/mountain dew etc etc etc stole the idea of a fizzy drink from coke. or that bf2142 stole the walkers from mgs4 or c&c.

Ever played Metroid Prime? Or perhaps seen trailers or footage for Red Steel or Disaster: Day of Crisis? Red Steel is third party, but Metroid Prime and Disaster are first party.

Besides, all these FPS games you people are talking about, they're really pretty childish, because the average adult wouldn't pick them up and they're really geared towards teenagers. The average adult would probably run to the Nintendo DS and pick up Brain Age. :laugh:

*Yawn* Back in 99 a group called Pelican created a controller that's supposably 'revolutionary' from sony (for the ps3), wich ALSO included vibration, wich sony says they couldn't add because it would 'get in the way'. More Sony BS.. Sony stole the idea, they completely forgot about motion sensing, if they hadn't lost that case with immsersion they wouldn't have looked at nintendo's idea with the motion sensing and took it, i mean, they needed somthing. A design that nobody liked, the banana (lol), and no vibration at all? Ha. they may well be trying to shed thier kiddy image (i would buy thier handhelds in a heatbeat like i said) but im too jaded towards the brand now .. personal opionion, again like i said and offered as such.

people (all console manufacturers) have OBVIOUSLY been looking at motion sensing for a long time to say one stole the idea off another is silly and to illustrate this point i simply googled and found some evidence to debunk your argument.. go and google and youll find some to debunk mine (do it about motion sensing if you like this time to stay on thread )

immersion ? im going to ask this off the top of my head as i cant be arsed to google again as i want to play some AF... does nintendo and the 360 have an eye toy 'motion sensing' camera thing ? they may i dont know but as far as i know they dont.

By "Immersion" he means the company (he forgot to capitalize it). Sony had a little legal trouble over the DualShock. I think that's why they dropped the rumble feature, because, as that video shows, it would have worked with the motion sensing.

Did you get even one point across in that post? Towards me? What i said was all true. GG. Little man. Grow up. Sony could have put in vibration, but they didn't because they didn't want to pay Immersion. And you said I KNEW NOTHING OF SONY'S BATTLE FOR IT'S CONTROLLER? How did you not know that? Eye toy? Who even started talking about an eye toy? Sony looked around at the competition and saw motion sensing, because they needed somthing. Don't kid yourself to think this was a plan from the start, as developers for the PS3 have even STATED that they knew nothing of this 'motion sensing' untill a couple WEEKS before E306. Playstation is just as 'asian' as nintendo.

Just a little more backing for me. Sony didn't want to pay immersion, so they stole nintendo's idea for this generation. This was a LAST MINUTE idea from sony.

PC + PS3 for me.

PC- BF2, Diablo 3, Crysis

PS3- MGS4, GT4, GTA4, SOCOM, Heavenly Sword looks fun too

PS3 is more expensive but the BluRay trade off isn't so bad plus you get 1.3 HDMI. I also love the PS2 controller. :)

Wii and PS3 (once i get the money). I love the controller on the Wii, and taking into consideration how well the Gamecube controller felt and worked, i imagine the Wiimote will do just as well. Red steel looks like too much fun.
