pkm is pants. when they boosted it up it was better, but yea we had all those whiners saying its too good blah blah. it got compared with other weapons that are **** and just cos it was alittle better it gets nerfed, when it should be all the other guns getting better accuracy and less bullet drop.

wheres the good infantry battles with these pants guns? there arent any.....
i believe a shooting game requires a gun/weapon to be accurate for a 1 bullet burst to hit the target your aiming at everytime. if your a crap aim your still going to miss....

I love the PKM its still a killer when fired in 3 burst shots. im still able to pick off snipers off buildings with ease. But we all loved it in patch 1.21 thats when the PKM was best.

I love the rpk and the SAS unlock and the saw for those tight situations mainly because of rate of fire but at a distance the pkm really can't be touched.

Love the PKM, only started using it, such a difference from being sniper. At least now I'll run into a flag and blast away or be able to defend one. Karkand, I'de just died and the commander spots some enemy at one of the flags near the mec main base. Spawned there and just waited, 3 guys came in the door, 5 shots and about 1.5 seconds later, 3 kills .... PWN3D. I used to HATE Karkand but now I love it....

Wargimp, you have a knack of coming up with some terrible analogies, here am i thinking about a nice young lass at my workplace and she now has rosies face....... ouch.

On topic, the PKM was my first unlock on my very first account, and loved it ever since. Its a shame about the resounding noise though, gives away your position so easily. However, i always needa change my dacks when i hear it and see tracers coming near me, that thing spits death

Ever since they overnerfed the noob toob, there is no reason to play assualt class because the PKM is just as deadly AND you never run out of grenades. If you know how to use it, the PKM is one of the deadliest, if not the deadliest, guns in the game.

I am usually SL and if I have two friends on with me, I will play support with both of them as medics. I will sit back and let them cap bases as I spot and lay cover fire for them.

My favorite story was right at the begining of Karkand, me and my 2 friends were US. We snuck up the West side to go get the suburb. I camped on the roof that over looks the suburb (from the SW) as they ran in. I noticed that there was a group of 4 people, 2 were medics (as far as I could tell). They were tightly bunched and perfect for killing. I managed to drop two of them by the time they killed both my friends. . . and then the two left went back to revive the other two guys that I had just taken down. Of course, this put 4 live people right in sights, so I killed them, ran down, revived both of my friends, got a neutralize and a cap and two ammo giving points for tossing some packs on the ground before switching kits.

I got 22 points (with 6 kills) in the span of 10-15 seconds. It was great. . . noone else in the round had more than 10 points at the time.
