If they don't answer my first couple of calls for a medic I stand in front of them jumping up and down, yelling, "I need a medic here!!!"

shoot to injure or tk then revive them, only had to tk a few times - then they ask why :). If you think bf2 is bad try prmm - when your 'bleeding' you have to chase after the medic or die and they dont like changing their gun for their medic bag.

Why is it all about points?
surely its better to through a health pack than wait unitll a teammate is dead to revive them! I throw medipacks down allover the place, cos someone (hopefully) will walk over it!
But to kill your own teammate is as childish as not helping!
Just kill the other team & help your own!

Players just need to get used to the fact that medics just cannot heal as fast as they used to. Most of the time, I find myself waiting for my healing bag meter to recharge just to throw one bag on the floor. As soon as 3 or more come around you and are injured, you find yourself out of bags to throw since the 3+ players used up all your resources fast.

Don't like the way medics play now? You can thank the stat padders for that and the nerf medics received because of it. Either accept how medics play now or use the medic kit as your role in the game and heal yourself.

I go through stages whenever someone is sgnoring my cry for repairs/medic/ammo.

Stage #1: Stand there and call for medic/support/grease monkey. Look on map for the icon. If they are close I sit tight.

Stage #2: Help is not coming to me, I run towards them. I repeat call for medic/ammo/wrench.

Stage #3: Right next to the guy, staring at them, calling out again for medic/support. No response.

Stage #4: Fire a few pistol rounds off in their general direction, because the 3 requests for medic weren't enough. They stare at me like I have 2 heads.

Stage #5: I type to the "Can I get a heal (insert name)" See if I get a response.

Stage #6: No response still. I just knife them and take their kit.

Either a lot of people do not understand english, do not use sound, or really don't give a rats ass about you.

I am tired of standing right in front of a medics face screaming "I NEED A MEDIC HERE!" and they just stare at you :laugh:. Then since you have low health, you are standing there.. and normally you will get killed waiting. THEN... you are dead.. and they just run right past you . Sometimes he hears you, and he just pulls his bag out and won't even throw it onto the ground.

Lately I have found that it is RARE to have a medic actually heal/revive you.

It might sound bad, but if they don't drop the bag within 10 seconds of me making it obvious (IE stand in front of them and spam I need medic), I TK them, pick up their kit, throw a pack down, and pick my kit back up. I don't revive them because they are retarded.


I think the best thing is to make it so there are no self-heals/ammo and that would make them think less for themselves and actually use it the way it was supposed to be used. Maybe make it so that you can't throw a pack and pick it up for an insta-heal, but make it so that if you are healing YOURSELF, you have to hold it out and slowly heal. For others, just toss em.

My top kit played, is medic, so trust me, I wouldn't like this... but... think about it. It would make the medic kinda stupid if you just plan on healing yourself and forget the other people. As it is, we have a powerfull *** gun (all 4 are powerful) which is extremely accurate... PLUS heals and revives.. and grenades. I think there should be more of an incentive to heal other people...

Why did they ever make it so it "charges"? I liked it when the whole team was medic and they actually FOUGHT to revive you...

So what do you do to deal with this?

Team killing him is going to make it all better HUH! why do you people stoop to low levels it really makes for wonderful gameplay... I guess you expect everyone to bow down and kiss your feet....

If he really doesn't listen and acts stupid not like a medic (Not throwing or healing people) It's his fault but sometimes if I'm in a strange mood I shoot them 2x in the leg so they will heal theirselfs at least then I follow them and get some health..

i really dont think he is stooping to any levels at all i realy donit think it matters as it is video game...he can do what ever it wants for all i care

now if we were talking about real life (i know this is extreemely unrealistic for some of you) then yes it would be stooping low to get your way

If the fool is the only medic in the area i shoot him 1-2 times in the leg and wait for him to get his pack out, so he heals me too .

Often people look around when they get a pistol in the leg and see me screaming "MEDIC PLEASE", so the drop me a pack.
