And there is your problem right there...you take the jet even though someone else is standing there waiting for it instead of waiting for your turn again. I hate it when people do that and if it happens more than once to me of course I will TK you.

I guess my statement was left a little open to interpretation; I didn't say that should you find yourself in that situation, you should just take the aircraft again and leave the person who has been waiting patiently for it. I meant that if you encounter that scenario, you could easily end up in a TK situation if you don't fork over the jet or helicopter and play fair by sharing, etc.
As I've said in multiple other threads, if I spawn first and see someone else running for the aircraft, 9 times out of 10 I will let them have it; I hate fighting over vehicles. Additionally, if I do take to the air and end up getting shot down and find someone else waiting for the jet or helo, I ALWAYS let them have it. Unfortunately, considerate people are hard to find in BF2.
I have always said the game needs to be coded to charge the player who runs or gets runover while on the runway a -10 and charged with a "Is no more" instead of any more Teamkills.
That way one person gets the plane and all others need to back off and clear the way.
I have seen that happen on some servers where people back off voluntarily from the plane I might be in. Those are the people and servers that earn my loyalty. I will share with them the next flight.
I don't think this would work well. I almost never fly, not very good at it, have no interest in fighting over aircraft, but I do occasionally get run over on the runway. An example is the Chinese airbase on Wake has a spawn point next to the UAV trailer; to get to the main action you either have to cross the runway or walk a mile around it. If I happen to cross without looking both ways and get run over it wouldn't be right for me to get -10 points (and I don't pounish when that happens either).

I jump out of the plane shoot them in the head and get back in... not gunna let them have the satisfaction of forcing me to kill them... ill do it myself.
I was playing Road Rage and was having great fun with the A10, had about 15 kills to 3 deaths when this individual (http://bf2s.com/player/62959462/) decides he wants to fly. I had already seen his skill, or lack thereof (check his aviator stats), but I was willing to let him fly if he got the plane first. If someone gets myplane, I go join the battle, not camp around the hanger like this person (or cause a TK). Well, I get the A10 on 3 different occasions with him standing there trying to get it before me.
I bet everyone magically missed these parts because everyone here is probably an air whore. Now, don't get me wrong - I agree 100% that's VERY lame to cause the pilot a teamkill because he button pushed faster and was in a better postion on the runway for the spawn of the plane. But, after reading some of these parts that you've said - It's just lame of both of you..
All the guy did was want to fly - so what if he's not as good as you in the air? He just wanted to have fun, but that's no reason to TK you, I agree. But it's also lame of you, judging from what you wrote here. So many air whores who won't let anyone else have a "turn" unless they click faster and get lucky. And because he's not as good as some other people, he has no right to fly, especially on ranked servers!
Nope, i'm not a disgruntled n00b pilot who sits on the runway and never gets a plane or chopper. I'm usally in a tank or on foot. I sometimes try to fly, because It's fun and although i'm not the best, I can hold my own. I don't TK people who click faster than me, but it is annoying to see posts like these. So yes, I felt composed to register and post this.
It's no one fault though, EA could have made a better system. You'd think after waiting on the runway for like 5-10 miniutes - you'd be able to get a turn after the better pilot finally dies. But nope, he spawns and is right there with you waiting for the plane to spawn. Doesn't that seem kinda lame? I'm sure EA could have made a better system to make it timed different. Pliot dies and by the time he's back, the other n00b pliot has already taken off.
And I realize waiting 5-10 minutes doing absolutely nothing isn't helping your team, but don't blame the people who do that - they just want to get a turn. It's how the system is, unless you're very, very lucky and just see a plane or helicopter sitting there - which only happens at 4am i've seen.

In conclusion.. blame EA
You certainly have the spirit of these forms blame EA. But I totally agree with you if i'm flying and die I look at the map and see if someones waiting for a plane if they are i spawn somewhere else.
I joined 12 servers tonight professing to have rules against spawn raping, teamkilling and blocking jets rules and rules and more rules.
I sustained something like 30 teamkilled against me and see a few people kicked or banned or myself kicked for negative scores.
I have decided from now on, I dont care about anyone inside teh hanger wanting to fly, If you get the jet, great. Have fun. But If I get the jet I dont give a damn about that -6 you are about to give me. or -18 or -24 etc.
