My SF disc just stays in there. I have my BF42 series discs all close at hand, so I just switch back and forth.

The last time I took mine out was probably a good 3-4 months ago too .

Nothing should happen to it. Unless you leave it in and dont turn on ur computer for months, then dust will collect and etc. But other than that, what can happen?
Its in a safe place inside the drive isnt it?

I dont use BF2 disk to play it . Mounted DVD thats all.

OK wait a sec. If you place the Special Forces ( SF Right? ) Disk in your drive and let it in there Battlefield 2 (Vanilla) will pass the Loading complete, Veryfiying nothing? If so I'm going to let my SF Disk in.. ?

i leave the dvd in the drive and changed the movie files so theirs no intro

Another DTools 3.47 + mini-image user :) I also use use plugin called awxDTools for shell extentions

Daemon-tools and mini image. My DVD-rom is to noise and will sometimes behave like the duracell bunny i.e. keep going.
