It wouldn't change, there would still be the same idiots playing the game. Most stores don't enforce those ratings on the purchaser. Those that do enforce the ratings are bypassed by the parents when little Petey Pumpkin tells mommy and daddy 'But I really reallly realllly want this game and I'll do all my chores blah blah blah', then the parents confer with each other and give him what he wants because (pick one): A) I don't want my kid to hate me B) It's only a video game C) Some other miscellaneous excuse
The more popular a game is, the more the idiots will flock to it.
I don't even play vanilla BF2 anymore because I think the game has turned to crap and (generally speaking) the community is full of idiots. The mods seem to have a better community in them by far.
