Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.

Didn't you know that you get facial expressions when you use SLI? Sheesh mate, get with the times
Just kidding... I meant to say, don't you love it when you turn around and the victim starts bunny hopping all over the place coz they just sh!t themselves.

Re: Good graphics and sound DEFINITELY an advantage!
It was night and day when I went from my nvidia 6600gt 128mb to my nvidia 7800gt (everything from medium to all high plus aa) along with my audigy2 sound card, onboard sound SUCKS.
I can hear people coming up behind me, the rustle in the grass (footsteps too) along with muzzle flash which helps a ton with every kit. I think the best is when you can hear the enemy's arty firing as you neutralize a flag...you know it's coming for you and have more time to react :) .

I was going to make that same point. Just after neutralizing the flag is when I usually hear the artillery firing so I run and take cover outside the blast range, then run back when its over for the capture. Thing is it does buy the other team 15-30 seconds to get someone over there so when you go back for the cap be watchful.
Re: Good graphics and sound DEFINITELY an advantage!
Guys... Im running BF2 with 768 mram, ATI Gigabyte Radeon 9550 (with some OC), and my SB Live 5.1 with a Plantronic headset 4.1.. and I can put some video settings at medium, 100% view distance and HW accelerated sound .. and I can hear and see everything, nades bumping on the walls or the floor, the arty firing at long distances, the footsteps, a reloading sinper over a hill.. etc... I also try to fly from time to time, and with my video settings I can see the vapor trails on the wings of the oposing jets... the most usefull thing for crappy pilots like me...

the only things I keep on high are Geometry and Effects, just like the OP was saying...higher setting on certain things give you advantages over lower end systems
high geometry lets you see vehicles/infantry from further out
high effects causes everyone who shoots any weapon except the suppressed pistols to have a huge muzzle fire brighten up around their body and give away their position
...in case anyone didn't know :P
In case you didn't know, the geometry setting only affects LOD models and the effects setting only affects explosion, smoke trails, fire and such. What you're talking about is draw distance and dynamic lighting.

When my Audigy 4 was on back order, I was using the onboard 5.1 sound with the Logitech 5500D 5.1 Speakers. It used to sound TERRIBLE! Sound would all get "mashed" together and would be very irritating. I had to change the setting to only have it stereo without the 5.1
When I got the new soundcard, I pumped the settings back up and noticed a massive difference in quality.

Blimey, the first I know enemy arty's firing is when I'm 100 feet up in the air. That sounds really sweet, I just HAVE to get a decent pc.
No, you just need a better sound card . You will actually "free" up some performance going from onboard to a pci sound card. I went from 75-80fps to maxing out at 100fps, the difference is DEFINITELY noticeable. You can pick up a creative audigy2 from www.newegg.com for about 50-60 bucks.
