And herein lies the problem. The original poster bemoans the killing of infantry but for the most part the changes have been attempts to help the infantry. Nerfing the Blackhawk and beefing up AA were responses to complaints by groundpounders getting pwnd by air. For every person who wants BF2 to be about infantry another says the game's about vehicles. For every person who wants realism another wants it to be an arcade game. One person says EA should change this but not that, another says to change that but not this. EA should listen to me but not him. How is EA supposed to get it right when we, the customers, can't agree what right is?

All true there. I just play, and moan and get frustrated but that's the game and the tactic used and if you died it's your next tactic to get him back A DIFFERENT WAY.
EA/DICE, Stop the game from crashing.. please inform me if there is anyone opposing this lol

and dont even get me started on how weak the transport helos are. ANYTHING can shoot them down now....easier.

I still struggle on helis though, need to get better defensive tactics against them. But yeah, I'm over cautious in APCs now

DICE makes claymores only hurt un-friendlies.

It's not DICE's fault. They changed the game for the vocal whiners who couldn't learn to adapt and overcome an obstacke.

If thats true, you tank whores will be suprised when I go to the forums and bitch about the ammount of rounds tanks get but helicopters get 8 missiles, before they reload. The chances of getting a gunner in vanilla that actually does anything remotely close to killing the enemy, is rare. So 8 missles don't cut it. The blackhawk, I only ever see 1 person in it. If theres more the one person I usually see:

or something along those lines. Yeah blackhawks use to be fun, it was awesome even trying to hide the almighty blackhawk. I miss that. The planes actually use to require some skill to, now if your in a J-10 you own the map, unless the dreaded thing happens and you happen to lose your Airfield on wake, and most pilots know to just bomb and light up the back area of the air field when its being taken.

I miss my 14 missiles from my cobra, I wasn't totally depending on the gunner. The hitpoints were fine, and the helicopters have always been easy to hit with AA. Now those linebackers if you miss them your ****ed. Theres no turning back after you've decided to make that desperate move to destroy the linebacker. If your gunner, or you happen to miss with your cobra/apache (whichever your playin SF or vanilla) then your dead. On maps like Dragon Valley where the AA is so close its very hard for a helicopter pilot. They nerfed helos. Now nerf the tanks what the **** does a tank need 40 rounds for anyway.

Quick comment, I tend to use all 40 rounds.. @Helos, just take a shot, at least you tried and if you miss you may dish out some damage for the next shot / someone else

To solve these problems ea just needs to revert; a2a missiles, chopper rockets and grenades to version 1.0, make all the transport choppers almost as powerful as the 1.12 BH, make claymores destructable, give assault a weapon as good as the g36e and give them more, effective smoke grenades.

Seems to me that instead of the servers im playing on its more you aren't experiencing it because you only play on ONE karkand server....

I only play on the xtra NZ server and internode Ozzie server.

The best patch imo was 1.22. If only the claymores could be triggered by grenades and the BH was a bit more powerful then it would be great.

All those who want it reverted to pre 1.2, just remeber the nade noobs and C4 whores. It still brings my bile up just thinking about them. That was one thing they hit right on the head with 1.2 when they nerfed the GL and altered the C4, and these things alone were worth all the other crap that came with 1.2.

1.3 has just ruined the game again and should be rectified as soon as possible.

Dunno what server you play on but the majority of my kills are from my primary gun. I use the other weapons in situations where they are more effective than my primary.

As for anything killing the game it was patch 1.3 and the squad changes. No other change has been as powerful as the squad one.

I will own you as a sniper and I will own you as a support. I will use no unlock either. After the owning I unleash you will most likely accuse me of hacking though I only use my knowledge of the game.
