must be alot of noobs on the servers you play then. It's dangerous being a sniper on the New Zealand 24/7 karkand server. Get hunted down in a instant after being spotted. Hence I usually rely on "damage kill assist" when using the sniper kit.

All the changes in patch are annoying but i've overcome them. You just need to adapt. The thing that really sets me on fire is that i can no longer play SF since 1.3 I've followed all the instructions givin on this site and others and no luck.

They need to stop releasing patches that stop the game from working!!!!!!11one11!!11!

Seems to me that instead of the servers im playing on its more you aren't experiencing it because you only play on ONE karkand server....

the game did not need arty and uav poo:p this is 2141 and 1/2 crap

            why?

because i believe a big problem is basically ,too much action in a little space for people to have fun

live a bit longer and enjoy your STAT life:wall: :salute:

I play 24/7 kark NZ alot too. I prefer it, there's typically always 64players online and different people with different tactics at any given time. Squad forming and decent commanders. The only whoring I ever notice is 1 guy in a tank, or more than half the players as medics reviving their way up the score board (likewise ). I only go sniper every so often if I feel my death rate is getting to high, or I've seen a few I want to take out. bam.

Edit. Gamerguy, you've gotta get a lil better at the game..

Rediculous. Where is the strategy? Where is the skill. I can shoose sniper, press 5, and click my mouse too. What the hell has Dice done. They killed the infantry in BF2. Not nerfed. Not destroyed. Killed. Murdered.
AMEN! They really did Fu<K up the infantry with Gaymores. They are EVERYWHERE. I would rather be noob tubed and C4 chucked. At least I get to see the person who killed me.

You were probably heading up to where one was hiding. Or he's just being a gay basher and put it in front of ya

The majority of my deaths to claymores are in totally random places i.e. sniper drops and decides to go reload and spam em somewhere else...and in unavoidable places like...flags...

It's more like 1/5 if that... 1/2 of the players in a server is a lot of people to be sniper...
You cannot walk three steps without getting grenaded. Now I know BF2 is not like real life, but IRL...if we fought using only grenades...no one would come home.
Grenades have always existed as they were since the hay day of bf2... no patch has changed them, so if you notice a differece its either you or a possible trend, which I haven't seen.

It's weird. My drive to play BF2 is so strong, but when I'm playing I get so annoyed...it's lost most of its sence of fun. Why can't dice just....listen....BF2 has seem much greater days than these. I hope Armored Fury lives up to everyones expectations...
I agree, I still have a big drive to play bf2, regardless of 1.3 CTD's

I don't know about all this other crap, but I just remembered how fun it was when I could get into a server without crashing. I remember those days. It was great! Then I could get bombed by a pilot over and over once I got in lol.

Well the thing is if u claymore a flag due to trying to defend your sniping spot then thats what they were meant for but nowadays people use sniper as a purely CQC class....the opposite of what its obviously supposed to be.

I do a slight touch of both. I do have a level sportsmanship in my game e.g. sniping a guy constantly getting revived and leaving the medic, I've done it before for a laugh but nowadays I just kill both of them.
Claymores are perfect for infantry, it's all about placement, and I like defending the Cement Factory - Karkand sometimes via sniping from rooftop, one defending the ladder (for me), and one inside the lower building with a roof (because I can't see you at that point). Do you feel this tactic is unreasonable?

They shouldn't have touched the AA at all. And theres millions of more things that they should change, but its never gonna happen.
And herein lies the problem. The original poster bemoans the killing of infantry but for the most part the changes have been attempts to help the infantry. Nerfing the Blackhawk and beefing up AA were responses to complaints by groundpounders getting pwnd by air. For every person who wants BF2 to be about infantry another says the game's about vehicles. For every person who wants realism another wants it to be an arcade game. One person says EA should change this but not that, another says to change that but not this. EA should listen to me but not him. How is EA supposed to get it right when we, the customers, can't agree what right is?
