Ya this is thread #9283 complaining about BF2...
But im not really complaining. Becuase when you complain, you expect someone to change the problem.
I don't expect Dice to fix BF2 - they wont.
I recently purchsed a brand new computer so I could play BF2. And I began playing and I loved it. But then it just became so frustrating. I mean....what has happened to that incredible game we know of as BF2? I still remember months ago, paying my 15 dollars to enter a game shack. I'd play BF2 (becuase my home laptop couldnt handle it) and me and my friends would have an awesome time playing on Karkand. We'd battling it out with assult rifles, and with the ocasional grenade.
Now it is all different. Now 1/3 to 1/2 of everyone in Karkand is a sniper. You cannot walk around a corner without running into a claymore. Im shooting a sniper and hes jumping around throwing claymores at me. I die.
Rediculous. Where is the strategy? Where is the skill. I can shoose sniper, press 5, and click my mouse too. What the hell has Dice done. They killed the infantry in BF2. Not nerfed. Not destroyed. Killed. Murdered.
You cannot walk three steps without getting grenaded. Now I know BF2 is not like real life, but IRL...if we fought using only grenades...no one would come home.
Seriousely, now people are using SECONDARY weapons, like claymores and grenades, in place of PRIMARY weapons like assult rifles. The gam that used to be BF2 is not just a mad dash to get a vehicle, and team killing if someone else gets it. Lets face it. Without a vehicle, you pretty much have to get out your explosives.
God...I dont even want to sound like im cplainging, becuase there is plenty of that...but I dont know...I've just been let down so much. It's more of a sad thing. And EA is still rolling in dough becuase we will buy it for those rare occasions where people actualy play the game like it is supposed to be played....
It's weird. My drive to play BF2 is so strong, but when I'm playing I get so annoyed...it's lost most of its sence of fun. Why can't dice just....listen....BF2 has seem much greater days than these. I hope Armored Fury lives up to everyones expectations...
