Agreed. The heli will die vs a jet, just like a tank will die almost every time against a heli.

I can do tricks like rolls or flips in a heli with my joystick but it's hard as hell with mouse... anyone know how to do it?

Yup, and for someone(like me) who never used a joystick, it's very easy. I would love to go up against some of the better pilots, not because I'm great, but I would like to see how I would do Pilot vs Pilot. It's easy keeping the Chopper level, killing ground targets, but turning and firing is more difficult, blahblah. We entered the 2vs2 TWL Chopper Ladder awhile back, we only played two matches and went 1 in 1 . TWL doesn't like the 1.3 patch or something, so the ladder as been postponed I think.

I don't have XFire, but my ingame nick is SFXTobacco, anytime.......Again, not because I think I'm great, just because....

I hardly ever go in a heli or plane but i know players who do nothing but, Heli's will own tanks but jets (in the right hands) will own Heli's everytime. The warning sound doesnt sound in a Heli until it's too late!!! To think otherwise would be stupid!!! I've never been taken down by a heli while in a jet

That's why it's so much easier to fly solo, you don't have to rely on somebody else and you know exactly what you're going to do next. I suppose talking with your gunner/pilot through VOIP would make it 10 times easier though

we did some testing for fun
using helo crews that have several hundred hours together
and gunner avg OVER 100 every game
we played without Voice comms
effectiveness dropped 80%
and score by less than 1/2

so . . .

i have flown w/ Mastakillachilla2 & is ranked #1 & he mostly uses his rockets instead of soloing wich im my book is for noobs ! he has 92,000 kills in a choppa & if you don't believe me just look up his stats.

God I hate having to rely on 90% idiots in this game in a vehicle, thats why I like the Tanks/Infantry/Planes because I dont have to rely on idiots to help me stay alive.

Then DON'T rely on others bro, go SOLO: in my opinion, unless a competent pilot or gunner is on your xfire and is willing to follow you in the server, soloing is the only way to fly.

There's a lot I could compare the situation to if people don't understand. Let me know and I'll dish them out.

reciprocity is how I think you spell his name, awesome pilot flew with him in the cobra also (I was gunner)
