Well, Im so uber 1337 that I dont need a gunner. I just jump out the heli, open the 'chute and headshot 9 ppl with my M95, then get back in the heli as it falls.

Then when a j-10 decides he wants to mess with me, I jump out and headshot him too, then get back in my heli

You cant frontflip in a heli unless you get like 90+ up in the air which is completely pointless. Backflip is somewhat helpfull but mostly pointless because it requires too much elevation to begin with and you loose a lot of it which will get in you pwned in a heli battle

You can just do a half of a backflip and then do half of a barrel roll to get right-side-up. You don't lose any elevation... if anything, you GAIN elevation.

There are just a TON of crazy manuevers you can do that will evade ANY jet, and win EVERY heli battle, unless you have a crappy gunner that is... but if you are good with the rockets, then you will still probably win. It doesn't even matter how good the other gunner is... no one can camera missle a move they don't know, unless they do it accidentally. Barrel rolls are hard as hell to camera, unless you see it coming.. then you can lead the target.... etc etc.

Kamakazi, missiles, and bullets can take out a heli depending on the pilot.

Jets are so easy to evade in a chopper. I think it's the other way around, any descent chopper pilot can avoid most shots from air targets.

But not when they slow down so much and have missiles selected that they lock you, you drop flares....flares go away and they still have lock, fire 6 missiles...GOODBYE!

the F35 and F18 are my wings. But on Sharqi I tend to get loco with the cobra. Before I could fly jets good I was a primarily helo pilot and damn good. I'm still decent, but usually rusty.

I had the pleasure last night to gun for GNO Goofiegoob3r. I have never flown with anyone as nimble and solid as this guy. I was pretty much sparing up the place with my crappy shooting but I still had a 60 point round. We played on Kubra Dam and we were flying places that I had only been in a dune buggy. Great fun. I salute you Goofiegoob3r.

It's awsome being the gunner for a pilot who can hold the darn thing steady for you to hit something! Glad you had a good time!

I used to play alot with a heli pilot called trepid_jesse. He is trully amazing. Although he does fly mostly solo.

I love piloting Cobra's in Wake! The J-10's can barely touch me.... the only way I get shot down is if they slow down to a near hover and try to unload everything on me.

I took you down with a TV missle on Wake. That was very fun. You kinda hovered instead of strafing like most pilots do and I slammed one right into the side of your choppa.

I can understand why people would talk about him (he can fly extremely well), but he's not alone ;-)

I could take you out in one, its pretty hard to dodge a verticle dive bomb in a chopper as you cant see them coming and bombs ignore flares

I have done that many times, but accidentaly to team mates as they fly over a target I'm about to bomb.

I am horrible as pilot, except when I'm solo-ing [when I can do a little better]. I just can't line the gunner up for kills other than with the TV-M - and end up crashing trying to do this, or hovering, waiting for the gunner to shoot and being shot down.

I've had a few decent pilots... But one that was memorable: Gloradin. He was not "uber" (in fact I couldn't kill many ppl), but he was pretty unique. He flies almost at ground level... And he's pretty good with the rockets. The type of guy that wonders why the chopper got a gunner seat.

And something funny is, if you're gunner, 90% of the times the pilot will suck. But if you are pilotting, 90% of the times the gunner is blind or can't use the TV-M. WTH?
